General Information

The Model 12560-004 Power Supply Replacement Kit is for use on the Model 10457-010 Card Rack
Assembly.

WARNING

Disconnect power to the card rack before performing any maintenance.

Remo ving the Old P ower Supply

Refer to Figu re 1 a nd Figur e 2 for component loc ation and installation details.

1. Ensure that ac power to card rack is removed.

2. At the rear of the Model 10457-010 Card Rack Assembly, remove the four outside screws on the upper

panel.

3. Gently lift the power supply panel away from the rack.

CAUTION

There are cables connecting the power supply to the backplane PCBA.

4. Ca refully dis c onnect the wir ing harness’s FASTON™ c onnec tors f rom the backplane PCB A. Do not

remove the black wire, whic h is pa rt of the bac kp l ane PC BA.

5. Remove the ac c onnec tor from the power supply.

6. At the rear of the power supply panel, remove the four power supply mounting screws, and free the

power supply.

Installing the New Po wer Supply

Refer to Figu re 1 a nd Figur e 2 for component loc ation and installation details.

1. Attach the replacement power supply to the panel using the four power supply mounting screws.

2. Reattach the ac connect or to the power supply and reattach the harness assembly’s FASTON™ lugs to

the backplane PCB A at t he appropriat e loc ations . Use firm pr es sur e to insure a t ight connector fit .
