General Information
This kit is for use on the Model 351 Telephone. It inc ludes the following comp onent s:

Installation
Removing the Door
1. Open the enclosur e door.
2. Loosen the two screws located on the upper hinge half of the mid-section. Remove the hinge and the
door.
Removing the Front Panel Assembly
1. Remove the four screws from the front panel as sembly. Pull the front panel assembly approximately 6
to 8 inches a way f rom t h e back enclo sure.
2. Disconnect the modular telephone line cor d from the printed circuit board, a nd c omp let ely remove the
front panel assembly.

Removing the Mid- and Rear Section
1. Loosen the f our s c rews located in the corners of the inside mid-s ection of the enclosure.
2. Swing the mid-s ection away from t he rear section to access t he rear mount sc rews.
3. Disconnect the bushing a nd c able from the enclosu re.
4. Loosen the four screws fast en i n g the encl o sure to the wa l l , and r emove the encl o sure from th e wall.
Installing the New Mid- and Rear Section
1. With t he mid-section swung out of the way, align the rear section with the mounting holes in t he wall,
and fasten it using the same screw/bolts that were used previously.
2. Inser t the previously used bus hing in the bott om of the new enclosure. Insert t he modular t elephone
line cord t hrough the b ushing a nd the enclosure.
3. Swing the mid-s ection ba c k against the rear section, and fa sten it with the fou r screws provided.
4. Reconnect the modular telephone line cord to the printed circ u i t board of t he front p anel assembly.
5. Fa sten the front p anel as sembly to the mid-s ec tion of the new enclosure.
6. Mate the bot tom hinge of the door with the bot tom hinge of the mid- and rear section of the enclosu re.
7. Connect the upper hinge to the enclosure.
