General Information

The Model 12506-003 Replacement Parts Kit replaces the 13301-002 Speaker in a GAI-Tronics Mine
Phone. This kit includes the following components:

1 #13301-003 Speaker Assembly

4 Thread-cutting Screws, #28209-824, 5/8-inch long

Machine Screw, #28018-824, #8-32 × ¾-i nch

Installation

1. Refer to the diagrams on page 2. Disconnect the Mine Phone from service. Disconnect the speaker

leads.

2. Remove the pop rivets holding the speaker using a drill or a punch.

CAUTION

Open the Mine Phone door to prevent damaging the electronics while drill i ng o r punching.

3. Remov e th e ex i sting speaker and gasket.

4. Orie nt the new speaker as illu str ated on p age 2 t o ensure clea rance of electronics inside th e e n c losure.

Install gasket, new speaker, and front grille. Secure with thread-cutting screws on the top and sides,
and with the machine screw on the bottom.
