General Information
The GAI-Tronics Model 10453-401 Headset provides hands-free communication with Electro-Sound
syst ems. The 3 0-foot ex tension ca ble provides the users with mobility when connected to a n Electro-Sou nd
jack s tat ion. The cable is equipped with a belt clip. A push-button switch is provided on the left ea r cup to
allow paging access in a system interfaced with a Page/Party
®
system.
The GAI- Tr onic s headset provides a noise r edu c tion rating of 2 3 dB, ma king it ideal for use wher e hea ring
protection is requi red. Pl ease refer t o the a ttach ed Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Use and Care
Sheet for information on maint aining the headset’s noise reduction rating (N RR). The goos eneck
(flexboom) microphone is fully adjustable but remains stat ionary onc e it is in pla c e. In addition, the gelfilled ear c u ps a nd adjustab le b lack clot h head strap maximize comfor t and keep t he hea dset secu rely in
place. These factors allow the use of the headset in areas with up to 110 dB SPL ambient noise, improving
safet y for employees wo rking i n these areas.
The headset is adaptable for use with or without hard hats. An employee working in diff erent a reas with
different requir ements , ca n alter nate the u se of the same headset, requiring a reduced invest ment.
Operation
To operate, the GAI-Tronics 10453-401 Headset must be connected to an Electr o-Sound jack us ing a
GAI-Tronics Model 10410-002 Extension Cable.
