Adapter
A 45 degree or column connection can be achieved by
attaching a mounting bracket to the proper adapter (Figures
1 & 2).
For the 45 degree connection, the rails will have to be
trimmed an extra 5/16" on each end where an adapter is
being used.
For the column connection, the rails will have to be trimmed
an extra 1/4" on each end where an adapter is being used.
After trimming the rails, the same procedure for installing the
straight bracket should then be followed (Figure 3).
Note: 2" screws are provided to replace the 1 1/2" screws
supplied with the straight bracket kits.
