READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.
Only individuals that have read this manual are qualified to operate this
appliance.
Never operate this appliance without the corn drawer in place. The corn drawer should be emptied after every use.
Do not immerse the popping kettle or any other electrical component of this appliance in water.
Make sure all switches are In "OFF" position before plugging cord into outlet.
Do not touch the popper kettle or any other hot surfaces during operation. Use handles, knobs, and hot pads when necessary.
This appliance must be placed on a level and stable surface to operate properly. Please inspect and confirm the appliance location meets these requirements before setting the popper up for operation.
The motor air intake holes are located in two locations – on top of the popper cap and under the top rim of the popper cap. Please be sure these vent holes are clear of any obstruction in order to prevent damage to the motor during operation.
Be sure agitator motor and popping kettle element are turned off immediately after popping has stopped.
Do not use or attempt to repair a malfunctioning appliance. Contact Consumer Service 1-800-945-4589 ext. 112 for return or repair authorization.
Do not clean appliance with scouring pad or harsh abrasives. All surfaces can be cleaned by using a damp cloth and mild soap solution
Do not attempt to pop corn in dry kettle. Oil must used.
Not for outdoor use.
This appliance is not for use by children.
Close supervision is necessary when using the appliance
near children.
Unplug cord from outlet when not in use.

Getting to know your Fusion Commercial 8 oz. Heavy­Duty Popcorn Popper
The Fusion Commercial 8 oz. Heavy-duty Popcorn Popper combines high quality construction and product features with smart design for excellent performance. This popper is designed for countertop use but it can be converted to a "popper / cart" when combined with model 520 Cart.
Power Capacity
The Fusion Commercial 8 oz. Heavy-duty Popcorn Popper operates on 120 volts, draws 12.2 amps and processes 1460 watts of power. For best results, operate the popper on an individual outlet or circuit branch. If the electric circuit is over-loaded the circuit breaker will trip and your popcorn popper will not operate. Make sure your outlet has a 15 amp electrical circuit and is separate from other appliances.
Before Using for the first time
1 Remove all packaging materials, labels and literature.
2 Use a clean damp cloth to wipe the corn deck, popping kettle and
inside and outside of cabinet. Do not use abrasive cleaners or pads as they may damage the finish.
3 Make sure the light bulb is securely fastened.
To Operate your Corn Popper
In order to attain the best results, please follow the operating instructions listed below.
1 Make sure the popper is always positioned on a level, stable surface.
2 Turn on the kettle heating element (HEAT SWITCH - #2) and the warmer
heating element (WARM SWITCH - #3). Allow 3 to 6 minutes for the kettle heating element to preheat.
3 After preheat is completed, turn kettle agitator motor on (TURN
SWITCH - #1).
4 Add pre-measured amounts of oil (2 oz.) and corn (8 oz.) using the
measuring cups provided with popper. Seasoning (1/2 teaspoon) can also be added to the kettle, or added after popping is completed if desired. The amount of oil and seasoning can be modified to suit taste. DO NOT OVERFILL KETTLE
5 Lower kettle cover onto kettle after corn and oil has been added to
kettle.
6 Close doors of popper so corn does not fall out the front of the machine
during the popping cycle.
7 When popping stops, turn off the kettle motor agitator switch. Turn off
the kettle heating element. Please note the kettle heating element can remain on if continuous batches are being popped. BE SURE KETTLE ELEMENT IS TURNED OFF AFTER LAST BATCH IS COMPLETE.

8 Dump the corn by rotating to the left and pulling the kettle release
handle downward. Rotate kettle back to the right into the horizontal
position after the corn is dumped. Be sure the kettle latch has snapped
back into position before a new batch is started. KETTLE IS HOT - DO
NOT TOUCH KETTLE.
9 Warm Switch can remain on while popcorn is being served.
Care & Cleaning
Use a damp cloth and mild soap solution to clean the popper. Never
use scouring pads or harsh abrasives when cleaning your popper.
Never immerse any part of the popper or let water drip inside the unit.
The popping kettle MUST be cleaned after every use to prevent oil film
build up in kettle. Failure to clean the kettle will result in excess smoke
and poor popping efficiency of unit. It is also recommended that the
rest of the popper be cleaned after every use.
The corn drawer must be emptied after every use.
It is recommended to occasionally clean out any kernels or debris that
may have fallen beneath the corn deck. Simply lift the corn deck out of
the cabinet, clean area and replace corn deck.
The popper operating temperatures are preset at the factory to achieve
optimum popping efficiency. No adjustment by customer is possible or
necessary.
If kettle must be removed, turn off kettle and allow kettle to cool.
Orient the popcorn popper so that the front of the unit faces you.
Open the popper's two upper doors followed by the lower door. If
the kettle cover is down, raise it against the magnet before continuing
this procedure. Disconnect the twist lock plug from the receptacle
on the popper ceiling by rotating the plug clockwise then gently
pulling downward. Verify that the kettle is completely cool and in the
popping position. Rotate the kettle release handle to the left to release
the popping kettle from the kettle latch and slowly guide the kettle
downward to the popcorn dump position. Remove the spring pin from
the hinge pin. Support the bottom of the popping kettle with one
hand and remove the hinge pin. Remove the popping kettle from the
popper.

One Year Limited Warranty
Tomlinson guarantees to the original purchaser of each Tomlinson Fusion Commercial 512FC 8 oz. Heavy-Duty Popcorn Popper that any part thereof which proves to be defective in material or workmanship within one year of the date of shipment will be repaired or a replacement part furnished F.O.B. our factory. Warranty will not apply if our examination shows popper to be defective as the result of negligence, abuse, misapplication or alteration by other than ourselves. Tomlinson will not be responsible for unauthorized field service. Contact factory at 1-800-945-4589 ext. 112 for instructions.
