Dishwasher detergent is corrosive! Take ca re to keep it out of reach of ch ildren.
IF THEWATER ISN'T TOOHARD, YOU MAYALSO PREVENT THEFORMATIONOF DEPOSITS BY ADDING DETERGENT. The amount of detergent needed can vary due to differenc es in wate r hardness. To determin e the water ha rdness in your area, c ontactyourlocal water utilityor area w ater softening company. Theharder the water, the more detergent you may need. Remember, you should adjust the amoun t of detergent you use by small amounts until you fi nd the correct amount.
To removehard w aterspots, try the following:
Run dishes throug h a normal wash pro gram. Removeall metaldishware, suchascutlery, pans, etc.,
from the di shwashe r.
Donot add detergent. Pour two cups of vi negar into a bowl and set the bowl fa ce
up on the lower rac k of the dishwasher.
Runthe dishesthroughanormalwash program. If this doesn't wor k, try the same pr ocess with 1 / 4 cup of citric acid crys tals in st ead of v inega r.
Use only detergen t specificall ymade for use in dishwa shers. Keepyourdetergent fresh anddry. Don'tput powderdetergent into the dispenser until You're ready to wash dishes.
The rinse aid is release d during the final ri nse to prevent water from forming dr oplets on yo ur dishes tha t can leave spots andstreaks. Italsoimproves dryingby allowing water to"sheet"offthe dishes. Your dishwashe rs are design ed to use liquid rinse aids . The rinse aid dispen ser is located ins ide the door n ext to the detergent dispense r.To f ill th e dispenser, open the cap and pour the rinse ai d into the dispenser u ntil the l evel indicator turns c ompletely black. The disp enser holds about 100 ml of liqu id rinse aid. Becareful notto overfill the dispenser, because thiscould cause over sudsing. Wip e away any spills withadamp cloth. Don't forge t to replace the cap be fore you clos e the dishwasher doo r. If you have soft wate r,youmaynot need rinse aid for it may causeawhitefilmtodeveloponyourdishes.
YOU MAY NOTADDTOO MUCH DETERGENT TOPREVENTTHEFORMATIONOF DEPOSITSBECAUSE YOUR DISHWASHERS HAVE SPECIALLY-DESIGNEDWATER SOFTENERS. The dispenser must berefilled before the start of each wash cycle following the instru ctions provide d in the" Wash Cycle Table".Yourdishwashers than conventional dishw ashers. Gener ally, onlyone tablespoon of detergent is nee ded for a normal was h load. Also, more heavily soiled item s need more detergent .Always add the detergent just before starting dishwasher, otherwise it c ould get damp and will no t dissolve properly.
use les s deter gen t and r ins e aid
To op en th e di spens er, turn the cap to the "op e n" (le ft ) arr ow an d li ft it out . Pourthe rinse aid into the dispe nser, being careful nottooverfill. Replacethe ca pbyinserting italignedwith "open" arrowandt urningittothe closed (right) arrow.
A measured amountof rinseaid is released during the final rinse. Aswith detergent, theamount of rinse aid needed for your dishes depends on t he hardness o f the water in your ar ea. Too much rinseaid canresultin lather of foamingand causecloudinessor steaksonyourdishes. Ifthe waterinyourareaisverysoft, youmaynotneedrinseaid.Ifyoudo, youcandilutetherinseaid with an equalamountofwater. Therinse aid dispenser has fou r settings.Always start with the dis penser set on " 2 ". If spots and poor dryingareproblems, increasetheamount of rinse aid dispensedby removingthe dispenser lid and rotating the dial to"3". If the dishes still are no t drying prope rly or are spott ed, adjust the dial to"4".. We suggest you to set on "2" .

Never use a spray cl eaner to clean the door p anel for it could dam age the door lock and ele ctrical co mponents. It is not allowed to use the abras ive agen t or some paper towel becaus e of the risk ofscratching or leaving spots on the stai n les s s t e el su r fa c e.
To clean the edge around the door, you should use only a sof t warm, damp rag. To prevent penetr ation of water int o the door lock and e lectrical components, do not use a spray cle aner of any kind. Also, never use abr asive cleaner s or scouring pad s on the outer s urface s because they will scratch the fini sh. Some pape rs towels can als o scratch or leav e marks onthe surface.
Aftereverywash, turn offt he watersupplyto the appliance and leave the door slightly ajar so that moisture and odors are not trapped inside.
Before cleaning or per forming mainten ance, always remove theplug fromthesocket.Do not runrisks.
To clean theexterior and rubber parts of the dishwasher, do not use solven ts or abr a siv e cleaning p rodu cts . Rather, use only a cloth and war m soapy wa ter. To remove spots or st ains from the surface of t he inte ri o r, use a clo th damp ened wit h wa t er a n d a litt le white vinegar, or a cleaning product made spe cifically for dishwashers.
When you go on ho liday, itisrecommened that you run a wash cycle w ith the dishwash er empty and the n remove the plug fr om the socket, turn off the water supply and leave the door of the applia nce slightly ajar. This will h elp the s eal s l as t l ong er and p rev ent odor s fromforming withinthe appliance.
Iftheappliancemustbemoved, trytokeepitinthe vertical position. If abs olutely necessary, it can be positioned on its back.
One of the factors t hat cause odors to form in th e dishwasher is foodthatremains trapped in the seals. Periodic c leaning with a da mp sponge w ill prevent th is from occurring.
This dishwasher is desi gned for o peration on an ade quately wire d individual 1 20VAC,60Hz.Use required fuse 16 amps. Fused electrica l supply is require d-copper wire only.Time delay fuse or ci rcuit breake r recommended and provide separate cir cuit serving only t his applianc e. Outlet should be p laced in adjacent cabin et.
After making sure that t he voltage and the fr equency valu es for the current in the h ome correspond to those on the r ating plate and that the el ectrical system is sized for the maximum voltage on the rating plate, insert the plug into an electrica l socket whi ch is earthed properl y. If the electrical socket to which the a ppliance must be connec ted is not approp riate tor the plug, replace the socket, rather than using a adaptor s or the like as they coul d cause overheat ing and burns.
