The rinse aid is relea se d during the fi nal rins e to prevent wat er from forming droplets o n your dish es. That can le ave spots ands treaks. It also improves drying by allowing water to sheet offthe dish es.Your dishwasher is d esigne d to usel iquid rinse aids. The rinse aiddi spenser is located inside the door next to the detergent dispenser.Tofill the dispenser, open the cap andpourthe rinseaidinto thedispenser until thelevel indicatorturns completelyblack. Thevo lume of the rinse aid container is about 110ml.

Ifth ere is no rinse-aid warning ligh t in thec ontr ol panel, you can judge t he amoun t of rinse-aid by the color of the optical level indicator located nexttothecap. When therinse-a id c ontainer is full,the whole indicator will be dark .As ther inse-aid dimini shes, the size of the dark dot decreases. You should never let therinseaidgetbelow1/4full.

Adjusting RinseAidDispenser
The rinse aid dispenser has four settings .The recommended sett ing is on "3". If thed ish es still are not drying properly or are spott ed, adjust the dial to the
next higher number on "4".
Increasethe dose if there are dropsof water orlimespots on thedishes after washing. Reduce i tif thereare stickywhitis h stains on yourdishesor abluishfilm onglassware or knifeblades.

The dispenser m ust be refilled before the start of each wash cycle following the instructions provided int he Wash CycleTable . Your dishwasher uses less detergent and rinse aid then conventionaldishwasher. Generally,onlyonetablespoon of detergent isneeded for anormal washload. Also, moreheavily soileditems needmoredetergent. Always a ddthe detergen t just be fore star ting the dishwas her, otherwis e it coul d get damp and w ill n ot dissolve prope rly.

Use a mild detergent that is described as 'kind ofd ishes '. I f necessa ry,seek further in f o r mati o n from det ergent manu f acturers. For particular items, se lect ap rogr amme with as low a t emperat ure. To pr even t damage, do not take glass and cutlery out of the dishwasher immedia tely after theprogrammehasended.

Very small items should not be w ashed in the dishwasher as they could easily fall out of the basket.

When the working cycle has finished, the buzzer of dishwasher will sound 8 seconds, then stop. Turn off the appliance using the ON/OFF button, shut off the water supply and open the door of the dishwasher. Wait afe w minutes before unloadi ngthe d ishwasher to avoid handl ing the dishes and utensils while they are still hot and m ore suscept ible to breakage. They will also dry better.

Openthedoor carefully.
Hot dishes are sensitive to knocks. Thedi shes should therefore be allowed to cool down around 15 minutes before removingfromthe appliance. Open t he dishwas her's door, leave it ajar and w ait a few minutes before removing the dishes. In this way they will be cooler andt he drying will be improved.

The control panel can be cleaned by using a lightly dampened cloth and dry thoroughl y. The exterior use agoo d appliance polish wax. Never usesharpobjects, scouring pads orharshcleaners on any part of thedishwasher.

To clean the coarse filter and the fine filter,use a cleaning brus h. Reassemble the filter parts as shown in thefi gures in the last pa ge and reinsert the entire assembly in the dishwasher,p ositioning in its seat and pressing downward.
Theentirefilterassemblyshouldbe cleanedonce aweek.
Whencleaning the filters,don't knockonthem.Otherwise,thefilters couldbe contortedand the performanceof dishwashercould be debased.
To cle an the edge around the door ,glide and decorative panels, you should use only a soft warm, da mp clot h. To avoid pene tration of water into the door lock and electrical components , do notu se a spray cleaner of any kind.
Neveru se a spray cleaner to clean the door panel as itm ay damage the door lock and electrical components. Abrasive agent or some paper towel should not be u sed because of the risk of scratching or leaving spots onthestainless steel surface.

It isrecommendthat you run a wash cycle with the dishwasher empty and t he nr emove the plug from the socket, turn offth e water supply and leave the door of the appli a n c e slightly open. Th is will h elp the door sealstoast longer and prevent odoursfromforming withinthe appliance.
If the appliance must be moved, try t o keep it in the vertical position.Ifabsolutely necessary, it can be positioned on its back.
Oneofthefactors thatcause odorsto f orminthe dishwasher is food that r emain s trapped in the seals. Periodic cleaning with a damp sponge will preve nt this fro m occurrin g.
After every wash, turn off the water supply to the appliance and leave the door slightly open so that moisture and odors are not trapped inside.
Before cleaning or performing mainten ance, always remove the p lug from the socket.
Tocleanthe exterior and rubber parts of the dishwasher, donot use solvents or abrasivecleaning products. Only use acloth with warm soapy wate r.
