TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER
WITH CYCLICAL TIMER AND VOLTAGE MONITOR
Ver. 06
MT516RVTI06-02T-10811
UL-Underwriters Laboratories
1.DESCRIPTION
The integrates a heating or cooling thermostat with a cyclical timer and a TrueRMSvoltagemonitor.ThroughtheF13 andF14 functionsispossibletodetermine thevoltage limits that the thermostat output can be active, this way protecting the compressor. Using True RMS* technology the controller iscapable of measuringthe voltages ina varietyof different situationsin the electricalgrid, thusprovidinggreater precisionin theprotection ofthe componentsof theapplication. ProductcomplieswithULInc.(United Statesand Canada).

*TrueRMS:Is therealand effectivevoltage valuewhichalso includesthevoltage generatedbyhigh frequency noisein thedistributing network(harmonic distortion). This isthe actualvoltage appliedto theconnected load (example: electricmotor, compressor). This method allows the precise voltage measurement for any type of waveform.Othermeasurementmethodsgivecorrect value ofapplied voltage onlyfor perfect sinewaveforms.

F13/F14/F16-Operationofthevoltagemonitor
F17-Displayindicationmode
The F02 functions allows for the correction of any changes in the reading, resulting from a change in the sensor or alteration ofthe lengthof the cable.
This function works for some applications, as for example, on cooling tanks for milk, where the timer commands the agitator thatmust remain on whilecooling istaking place.
If the value ofthe voltage exceeds the limits setin F13 and F14 the compressorwill be automatically turned off afterthe time setin function F16 haslapsed. The led“VOLTS”will slowly blinkalong withthe Indication ofthe gridvoltage on thedisplay. In the event that the voltagereturns to the limits established, the compressor will only be turnedon again after the time scheduled inthe F16function has ended. Todeactivate thevoltage monitoring, all you haveto do isadjust functionsF13 and F14to thesame value.
Function F17allows youto choose themeasurement thatwill be displayedduring normaloperation:

ofthelogs.Themessage willappearindicatingthe successfulloperation.
Tochange theoutput ofthecyclical timerfrom"on" to"off" or viceversa justpressthe key untilthe
appearsonthedisplay.
To visualize the current status (on/off) time that has already lapsed on the cyclical timer press
quickly.
Toconsultthe voltageandfrequencyof theelectrical gridwhenthecontroller isconfigured todisplaythe temperaturejust push the keyquickly. Thecurrent voltagevalue willbe displayedfollowed by the frequencyindication andit`s value. To visualize the temperature while the controller is displaying the voltage press the key like explainedabove.
