Polarization Instructions
Power Cord - 2-Wire Polarized
To reduce the risk of electric shock this product is equipped with a polarized alternating current
line plug (a plug having one blade wider than the other). This plug will fit into the power outlet
only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug fully into the outlet, try
reversing the plug. If the plug should still fail to fit, contact a qualified electrician to replace the
obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.
Safety Precautions
Important:
1. If the suction opening of the unit, the hose or the telescopic wand is clogged,
turn off the vacuum and remove the clog before turning the vacuum back on.
2. Hold the plug when rewinding the cord. Do not allow the cord to whip when
rewinding.
3. Do not use the vacuum without the dust bin and all filters in place.
4. The blower function is an additional feature of this vacuum and should be used only
for short time periods. The hose and handle may become hot after long periods of
use. Should this occur, turn the vacuum off for several minutes. Keep blower away
from face and ears.
