1. Product Introduction

Thank you for choosing Earmo.

Ergonomic design makes it easy to use. The reading of
Earmo is based on operation principle of medical digital
thermometer. It’s convenient and hygienic. Simply follow
the instruction to take temperature properly.
Earmo is designed to measure ear temperature.
Fast: It only takes 1-2 seconds to get an accurate
temperature reading.
Earmo itself can store 300 sets of temperature data and
display 5 sets, while all data can be securely stored in
the Cloud.
Temperature unit can be switched between °C and °F
No probe cover needed makes it convenient and
low-cost during usage.
When disinfecting, apply alcohol pad on the waterproof
probe to clean it. (Don’t dip the probe in water)
Earmo is energy saving. It automatically hibernates after
20 seconds.

1. Gently press the lid and push it down, and take the lid off.

2. Insert 2 AAA batteries in the battery cell as indicated.

3. Place the lid back.

Battery power warning: If battery icon flickers when turn on
Earmo, it means battery power is low and needs to be
replaced. Low battery power may cause inaccurate readings.

It is recommend to remove the batteries if Earmo will not
be used for any extended period of time.
Please follow local rules of battery disposal to dispose
used batteries properly.

Step 1. Press the button to turn on Earmo.
Step 2. Swipe left and right on the surface to choose temperature unit.
Step 3. Press the button again to set temperature unit.

Measure temperature

Step 1. Gently pull the ear back to make ear canal straight,
which helps to improve the accuracy of measurement.

Step 2. Insert Earmo into ear canal, and press the button to
measure.

Step 3. Measurement is done after a sound of beep, and
the result will be instantly shown on the LED screen.

Step 4. You can swipe up and down to see previous
temperature readings.

Connect with Earmo app

Step 1. Download Earmo app at Apple Store or Google Play.

Step 2. Turn on Bluetooth and keep Earmo closed to your
phone. Follow the instruction on the app to connect.

7 Care and Maintenance

Probe: In order to prevent infection, please apply alcohol
pad on the waterproof probe after single use. (Don’t dip
the probe in water)
If need to take another temperature after cleaning with
alcohol pad, please wait for 5 minutes.
Body of Earmo: Please use paper towel or dry cloth to
gently wipe it. Avoid washing it by water.

Kindly reminder

Why cleaning after single use is necessary?
Due to infrared measuring method aims to measure the
temperature of object, earwax and other filthy objects not
only affect the accuracy, but also cause infection. So it is
recommended to clean the probe after each use.

8 Troubleshooting

LED screen shows LO if temperature reading is below 89.6°F.
LED screen shows HI if temperature reading is above 109.2°F.
It shows ERR if the operation condition is beyond 60.8°F-104°F.

Solutions of LO or HI reading:

Make sure Earmo is operated under proper instruction.
The reading LOW might due to probe is not firmly inserted
into ear canal. Please insert firmly during the next
measurement.
The reading LOW might due to probe covered by filthy
objects. Please use alcohol pad to wipe it.

Solutions of HIGH reading:

Please use Earmo when the surrounding temperature is
between 59°F to 95°F.
