TECHNICAL CONSULTANCY IN SRI LANKA
/ High level of self-consumption ensures minimum operating costs
/ Due to increasing energy costs in Sri Lanka, engineer Gehan Bandarigodage
decided to have a photovoltaic system installed on his company premises. The
2.5 kWp roof-mounted system is used for self-consumption and meets the
majority of the site's daily electricity needs. Any surplus energy generated on
particularly hot days is fed into the public grid.
The owner of the system, engineer Bandarigodage, is perfectly satisfied: “I de-
cided to opt for a Fronius inverter due to the high quality of the product and the
prompt customer service.”
/ Installer and long-term Fronius sales partner Manoj Galbadaarachchi explains:
“Fronius inverters have a rugged and well-designed metal housing. The simplicity
and, more importantly, reliability of the installation is yet another reason why we
favour Fronius inverters.”
