overvoltage-limiter, which help to prevent possible damage of the inverter caused by an indirect lightning stroke.
From a manufacturer’s point of view, assuming the absence of any national or locals norms that require an
external overvoltage-protection, it is therefore allowed to install the inverters without any additional overvoltageprotection on the DC and AC side.
