Allgemeines

DE

Sicherheit

WARNUNG! Fehlerhaft durchgeführte Arbeiten können schwerwiegende Perso-

nen- und Sachschäden verursachen. Alle in der Einbauanleitung beschriebenen
Arbeiten dürfen nur von Fronius-geschultem Servicepersonal durchgeführt wer­den. Alle in der Einbauanleitung beschriebenen Arbeiten erst durchführen, wenn
folgende Dokumente vollständig gelesen und verstanden wurden:

- diese Einbauanleitung

- sämtliche Bedienungsanleitungen der Systemkomponenten, insbesondere
Sicherheitsvorschriften

WARNUNG! Ein elektrischer Schlag kann tödlich sein. Vor Beginn der Arbeiten:

- Netzschalter der Stromquelle in Stellung - O - schalten

- Stromquelle vom Netz trennen

- sicherstellen, dass die Stromquelle nicht ungewollt mit dem Netz verbunden
wird

Nach dem Öffnen des Gerätes mit Hilfe eines geeigneten Messgerätes sicher­stellen, dass elektrisch geladene Bauteile (z.B. Kondensatoren) entladen sind.

WARNUNG! Unzureichende Schutzleiter-Verbindung kann schwerwiegende
Personen- und Sachschäden verursachen. Die Gehäuse-Schrauben stellen eine
geeignete Schutzleiter-Verbindung für die Erdung des Gehäuses dar und dürfen
keinesfalls durch andere Schrauben ohne zuverlässige Schutzleiter-Verbindung
ersetzt werden.

VORSICHT! Verbrühungsgefahr durch heiße Systemkomponenten und heißes
Kühlmittel. Alle in der Einbauanleitung beschriebenen Arbeiten nur durchführen,
wenn:

- das Kühlmittel auf Zimmertemperatur abgekühlt ist (+25 °C, +77 °F)

- alle Systemkomponenten auf Zimmertemperatur abgekühlt sind (+25 °C,
+77 °F)

HINWEIS! Sicherstellen, dass kein Kühlmittel in den Geräteinnenraum gelangt.
Sollte Kühlmittel an die Außenseite des Gerätes gelangen, dieses sofort entfer­nen.

Funktion Die zweiten Wasseranschlüsse werden an der Vorder- oder Rückseite des Kühlgerätes

montiert.

Mit der Option OPT/i CU Duo kann

- ein zweites Schweißbrenner-Schlauchpaket in das Kühlsystem eingebunden werden,

- die Option Kühlmittel-Filter an der Vorder- oder Rückseite montiert werden.

Somit kann beispielsweise die Wartung des Kühlmittel-Filters bei schlechter Zugäng­lichkeit an der Rückseite einfacher von vorne durchgeführt werden.

HINWEIS! Gefahr der Überhitzung des Schweißbrenners. Um einen ausreichen-

den Kühlmittel-Durchfluss zu gewährleisten, folgendes beachten:

Der Option OPT/i CU Duo liegt ein Schlauchstück bei.

Wenn am Drahtvorschub oder am Kühlgerät Anschlüsse für Kühlmittel-Vor- und

-Rücklauf nicht belegt sind, das Schlauchstück an den freien Anschlüssen für

Kühlmittel-Vor- und -Rücklauf anstecken.

Freie Anschlüsse können sich befinden:

- am externen Drahtvorschub, wenn dort der Schweißbrenner abgenommen wurde;

- an der Vorderseite des Kühlgerätes, wenn dort die Kühlmittel-Leitungen für den
Schweißbrenner an der Stromquelle abgenommen wurden;

- an der Rückseite des Kühlgerätes, wenn dort die Kühlmittel-Leitungen für das Verbin­dungsschlauchpaket zum externen Drahtvorschub abgenommen wurden.

General

Safety

WARNING! Work that is carried out incorrectly can cause serious injury or dam-

age. All work described in the installation instructions must only be carried out by
Fronius-trained service technicians. Do not carry out the work described in the in­stallation instructions until you have thoroughly read and understood the following
documents:

- these installation instructions

- all the operating instructions for the system components, especially the safe­ty rules

WARNING! An electric shock can be fatal. Before starting work:

- Turn the power source mains switch to the “O” position

- Disconnect the power source from the mains

- Ensure that the power source is not unintentionally connected to the mains

After opening the device, use a suitable measuring instrument to check that elec­trically charged components (e.g. capacitors) have been discharged.

WARNING! An inadequate ground conductor connection can cause serious inju­ry or damage. The housing screws provide a suitable ground conductor connec­tion for earthing the housing and must NOT be replaced by any other screws that
do not provide a reliable ground conductor connection.

CAUTION! Risk of burns from hot system components and hot coolant. Only car­ry out the work described in the installation instructions when:

- the coolant has cooled to room temperature (+25 °C, +77 °F)

- all system components have cooled to room temperature (+25 °C, +77 °F)

NOTE! Make sure that no coolant enters the device. If there is any coolant on the

exterior of the device, remove it immediately.

Function The second water connections are fitted on the front or rear of the cooling unit.

With the OPT/i CU Duo option:

- A second torch hosepack can be integrated into the cooling system

- The coolant filter option can be fitted on the front or rear.

This means maintenance of the coolant filter can be performed more easily if there is
poor access to the rear.

NOTE! Risk of overheating of the welding torch. To ensure sufficient coolant flow,

observe the following:

A hose piece is provided with the OPT/i CU Duo option.

If there are free coolant flow and return connections on the wirefeeder or on the
cooling unit, connect the hose piece to the free connections for coolant flow and
return.

Free connections can be found:

- On the external wirefeeder if the welding torch was removed from there;

- On the front of the cooling unit, if the coolant lines for the welding torch to the power
source were removed from there;

- On the rear of the cooling unit, if the coolant lines for the interconnecting hosepack to
the external wirefeeder were removed from there.
