The Fronius Datamanager 2.0 will be available from autumn
2014. For the first time, a meter connection to the Fronius Smart
Meter has been made possible. The meter connection is
established via a Modbus RTU interface, which records selfconsumption in the Fronius Solar.web online monitoring portal.
This data is used to optimise power consumption in the home,
thereby minimising energy costs.
From November 1st 2014, the Datamanager 2.0 will be
integrated into the Fronius Galvo and Fronius Symo
SnapINverters as standard. The Fronius Datamanager 2.0 can
be retrofitted as a plug-in card in any Fronius inverter. The box
version can also be used with any Fronius IG TL, Fronius Agilo
and Fronius Agilo TL.

NEW OFFLINE VERSION - FRONIUS SOLAR.CONFIGURATOR
For the perfect sizing of your pv system. In the planning stage of
a pv system, the Configurator supports you in he best possible
way to get the perfect sizing.
In addition to the online version there is a new offline version of
the Fronius Solar.configurator. In this version the
Solar.configurator got updated with the whole Fronius Symo
series. As of now it is also possible to design systems with two
MPP-Trackers (Fronius M inverters) at the calculation of single
inverters.
KNOWLEDGE FOR SUCCESS
Fronius training programme expanded!
A new offering is the two-day Fronius Service Partner
Qualification Training on SnapINverters. From initial mounting
and connection options to troubleshooting and component
replacement, participants learn everything there is to know
about working with the new SnapINverter generation in theory
and in practice.
Aside from on-site training, Fronius now offers the first e-
learning module foracompletelyuptodate“learningon
demand”service.ThefirstFroniuselearningmoduleexplores
the Fronius Solar.configurator design tool. Two training
programmes are available for interested installers: individual
inverter layout concerns the optimum module design for a
specific Fronius inverter, while the module array calculation
shows the optimum solar module area layout of a PV system,
even with complex roof configurations (such as an east/west
orientation).

A„smart“58.5kWcommercialsystemforoffsetting
electricity consumption.
This 58.5 kW PV system was designed to offset the business
day energy consumption and installed at Cub Campers head
office in NSW, Australia. A Tigo Energy management system is
being used as well as Tigo Energy embedded panels which
allows for individual panel monitoring, complete system
monitoring and system management with up to 25% energy
gains.
