FRONIUS MODERNISES PHOTOVOLTAICS SYSTEMS
Fronius is offering PV system owners a simple modernisation
solution. Old inverters, including ones from other
manufacturers, can easily be replaced with Fronius devices.
This increases the PV system's performance and brings it up to
date with the latest technological standards.
New challenges require new solutions
The inverter is defective and the warranty has expired.
The required service is not available.
The PV system does not produce the expected yield.
There is a high feed-in tariff and a powerful inverter could
be more profitable.
PV system owners are faced with a number of new challenges.
Fronius inverters provide the best conditions for repowering.
Fronius offers both single and three-phase inverters, while the
carefully compiled product portfolio leaves nothing to be desired
in a repowering solution.

FRONIUS POWER PACKAGE - THE SYSTEM SOLUTION FROM A SINGLE
SOURCE
With the Fronius Power Package you can take full advantage of
the benefits offered by Fronius string inverters for projects on a
smallandlargescale–fromplanningthroughtomaintenance
of the PV system. Maximum flexibility in the design of the PV
system, the pre-installed inverter cabling and the supplied
Fronius AC Combiner greatly reduce the planning work.
Failure rates during initial installation and the installation time
are therefore minimised. The Fronius Power Package also
helps to reduce maintenance and consequently to achieve
lower project costs.

ROOF-MOUNTED SYSTEM IN VILLANOVA DI CAMPOSAMPIERO, ITALY
The Fronius Symo is the ideal repowering inverter, as
demonstrated by the 198 kWp roof-mounted system in Villanova
di Camposampiero near Padua in Italy. In November 2011 the
system was equipped with inverters from another manufacturer.
Right from the start these did not produce the desired yield and
also did not meet the required Italian CEI standard. After just two
and a half years the system owner decided to replace the
existing devices with inverters from Fronius. Since July 2014, 18
Fronius Symo 10.0-3-M have been operating on the roof of the
commercial enterprise to produce an annual 200 MW of clean
PV power.
