FRONIUS SYMO 20 KW
Following the successful gradual introduction of the Fronius Symo power categories up to 8.2 kW, the final stage of the expansion is now imminent. Five additional inverters in the 10.0,
12.5, 15.0, 17.5 and 20.0 kW power categories will complete the range and widen the application possibilities of the Fronius Symo inverter from single-family homes to field installations.
The SnapINverter installation system enabling installation and servicing to be performed with ease. The SuperFlex design of the Fronius Symo combines all the system design requirements into a single inverter form. The Dynamic Peak Manager contains a new MPP tracking algorithm, which dynamically adapts its behaviour when searching for the optimal operating point.

SUPERFLEX DESIGN - DESIGN FLEXIBILITY FRONIUS SYMO
The PV applications where the use of more than one Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) makes sense are manifold and diverse. This results in quite different requirements to the characteristics of the MPPT of an inverter with multiple MPPT.
Learn more about the effect of those applications on the technical requirements of inverters and how the Fronius Symo inverter series complies with them.

SNAPINVERTER
With the SnapINverter generation of inverters, quality leader Fronius is launching a new and totally unique product range without rival anywhere on the planet. All string inverters from Fronius are simultaneously SnapINverters. Fronius Galvo, Fronius Symo and Fronius Symo Hybrid cover the entire power range from 1.5 to 20 kW. All the benefits of the device are united
under the motto “seen one, seen them all”. Once again Fronius
has firmly underlined its position as the innovation leader.
“The new generation of inverters from Fronius encompasses a
number of totally unique benefits for the installer. Customers opting for a Fronius SnapINverter are rewarded with a standardised fitting and installation experience: the device can be installed and serviced safely and easily, it affords maximum flexibility and can be used anywhere. Furthermore, all products are future-proof and user-friendly as standard,” explains Martin Hackl, head of the Solar Energy division at Fronius International GmbH.

DYNAMIC FEED-IN MANAGEMENT WITH FRONIUS
If there is a feed-in limit (f.e. max. 70% of the kWp or max. 5 kW) the self-consumption in the house should be considered, before the inverters power is going to be reduced. With the new inverters Fronius Galvo and Fronius Symo it is possible to have a dynamic feed-in management considering the current self consumption. Therefore it is possible to set an individual feed-in limit and to connect a meter that measures the self-consumption directly via S0 to the inverter. The settings can easily be done on the webinterface of the inverter.
Requirements for the S0-meter: Compliance of the standard IEC62053-31 Class B Max. Voltage: 15 V DC Max. ON current: 15 mA Min. ON current: 2 mA Max. OFF current: 0,15 mA

REFERENCE - POULTRY FARM - AUSTRIA
The Kaltenegger family‘s poultry farm has been using three
Fronius Symo 20 kW of the new SnapINverter generation since December 2013. Together with a Fronius Agilo the inverters ensure highest yields.
With a 176 kWp PV system, the Kaltenegger family are happy to be doing their bit for the environment, while simultaneously profiting from a lucrative investment in the future.
