FRONIUS IG PLUS - THE ALLROUNDER
RELIABLE, CUTTING EDGE, FUTURE-PROOF AND SMART
GRID READY!
The Fronius IG Plus: the inverter with the most modern
communication features on the market, thanks to numerous
new functions in Fronius Datamanager. Using the optional WLAN
internet connection, you can keep track of how your
PV system is performing at all times. The Fronius IG Plus inverter
range is ready for the Smart Grid of tomorrow. Grid
backup functions, known as “Advanced Grid Features”, help to
maximise the yield of the PV system and provide stable grid
operation. Power categories from 2.6 to 12 kW cover every
system size. Fronius Datamanager can be retrofitted in Fronius
IG Plus inverters at any time.
The Fronius Solar.web all-in-one internet portal has undergone a
major revamp. The new version naturally still provides a
comprehensive overview of the status of the system, but the
portal now boasts even more options for analysing and
monitoring PV systems. Features such as automatic module fault
detection, automatic reporting and an option to compare yields across multiple inverters or time periods - make this online tool
particularly useful.
As from now on all already registered customers can use the new
design under https://next.solarweb.com. Both versions will run
parallel until the end of August.

FRONIUS INVERTER ENDURANCE TESTS
Fronius tests beyond the required limits. The Fronius research
and development centre covers more than 34,000 m² and has 17
climate chambers, grid simulators and ample space for the
design and development of prototypes and preassembly. More
than 400 m² are devoted to test laboratories. A PV system is
naturally also available for testing new technologies.

SELF-CONSUMPTION AND HOME AUTOMATION WITH FRONIUS AND
LOXONE
At last, a simple solution to home automation! The Loxone
Miniserver controls everything in your home, from the shading to
the heating. The combination of Miniserver and a photovoltaic
system with Fronius inverters provides a convenient way
of managing your energy to increase levels of selfconsumption.

LADOVO SOLAR POWER PLANT - SLOVAKIA
The PV power plant was built on behalf of Solartec in one of the
sunniest regions of Slovakia. It was completed in under three
months. The crucial factors for the successful construction of this
system were reliable product availability and smooth project
management. The individual parcels of 1 MW each were financed
by investors. The entire yield is fed into the grid and supplies
some 10,000 households with power.
PC BOARD REPLACEMENT ENABLES QUICK
MAINTENANCE
As a long-term Fronius partner, the reasons for Solartec having
selected inverters from the Fronius IG Plus series are down to the
highest yields they deliver and a failure rate of less than one
percent. “We are extremely satisfied, as such a low failure rate
means virtually no yield losses. The system monitoring feature
means we can identify faults immediately. As we also keep a
stock of spare parts in a warehouse on site, we can replace any
faulty PC board in under 20 minutes”, explains plant engineer
Miro Pevcik.
