SECTION 4: First aid measures
4.1 Description of first aid measures
General information:
Seek medical treatment in case of complaints.
If unconscious, use a stable lateral position and do not administer anything through mouth.
Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.
After inhalation:
Supply fresh air or oxygen; call for doctor.
In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in side position for transportation.
After skin contact:
Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.
Take off immediately all contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse.
Call a doctor immediately.
After eye contact:
Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water.
Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
Consult an ophthalmologist or eye clinic immediately.
After swallowing:
Rinse out mouth and then drink plenty of water.
Do NOT induce vomiting.
Call for a doctor immediately.
4.2 Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
Acute: corrosive effect on skin, mucous membranes and eyes.
Risk of irreversible damage to eyes.
If swallowed, it has a strong corrosive effect on the mouth and throat and may perforate the oesophagus
and stomach.
4.3 Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
Depending on the condition of the patients, the doctor must assess the symptoms and the overall general
