Einbauanleitung für LocalNet Gateway RS422

Warnung! Fehlerhaft durchgeführte Arbeiten können schwerwiegende Sach-

und Personenschäden verursachen. Nachfolgend beschriebene Tätigkeiten
dürfen nur von geschultem Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden! Beachten Sie
die Sicherheitsvorschriften in der Bedienungsanleitung der Stromquelle.

Warnung! Ein Elektroschock kann tödlich sein. Vor Öffnen des Gerätes:

- Netzschalter der Stromquelle in Stellung - O - schalten

- Stromquelle vom Netz trennen

- Deutlich lesbares und verständliches Warnschild gegen Wiedereinschalten
anbringen

Nach dem Öffnen des Gerätes gegebenenfalls spannungsführende Bauteile
(z.B. Kondensatoren) entladen.

Vorsicht! Unzureichende Schutzleiterverbindung kann schwerwiegende Perso­nen- und Sachschäden verursachen. Die Gehäuse-Schrauben stellen eine
geeignete Schutzleiterverbindung für die Erdung des Gehäuses dar und dürfen
keinesfalls durch andere Schrauben ohne zuverlässige Schutzleiterverbindung
ersetzt werden.

Das Einbauset LocalNet Gateway RS422 (4,100,472) besteht aus folgenden Bauteilen:
(1) Anschlussbuchse RS422 mit Flachbandkabel

(4) Externe Anschlussbuchse LocalNet mit Kabelbäumen
(5) 2 Schrauben M4 x 8 mm
(6) Interne Anschlussbuchse LocalNet mit Kabelbäumen

(8) Messingdistanz kurz
(9) 2 Messingdistanzen lang
(10) 2 Schrauben M5 x 10 mm
(11) 6 Kunststoffdistanzen lang

An der Rückseite der Stromquelle, beste­hende Anschlussbuchse LocalNet (13)
demontieren:

1. Gummiabdeckung abnehmen

2. 2 Schrauben M4 x 8 mm lösen

1. An der Rückseite der Stromquelle, Blechplatte (14) demontieren (Abb.3)

2. Blechplatte (14) vorsichtig abnehmen

Hinweis! Beim Abnehmen der Blechplatte (14) die Kabel weder knicken, ein­klemmen noch auf Zug belasten.

Hinweis! Falls an der Innenseite der Blechplatte (14) keine Gewindebolzen
vorhanden sind, ist eine geeignete Blechplatte (32,0409,2657) mit Gewindebol­zen verfügbar.

Hinweis! Kurze Messingdistanz
(10) gemäß Abbildung platzieren.

Montagehinweis für die Blechplatte (14) mit
vormontierten Gewindebolzen:

1. Print GW422 (9) gemäß Abbildung mit zwei Messingdistanzen lang (9) und sechs
Kunststoffdistanzen lang (11) befestigen

1. Zuvor demontierte Anschlussbuchse LocalNet (13) an der internen Anschlussbuchse
LocalNet (6) anschließen

2. Die externe Anschlussbuchse LocalNet (4)

- in freie Durchführung der Blechplatte (14) einsetzen

- mittels 2 Schrauben M4 x 8 mm (5) befestigen

3. An der externen Anschlussbuchse LocalNet (4) Gummiabdeckung (3) anbringen

Hinweis! Beim Aufsetzen der Blechplatte (14) die Kabel weder knicken, einklem­men noch auf Zug belasten.

4. An der Rückseite der Stromquelle, Blechplatte (14) vorsichtig aufsetzen und befesti­gen

Warning! Operating the equipment incorrectly can cause serious injury and

damage. The following activities must only be carried out by trained qualified
personnel! Take note of the safety rules in the power source operating instruc­tions.

Warning! An electric shock can be fatal. Before opening the machine:

- Switch the power source mains switch to the - O - position

- Unplug power source from the mains

- Attach a clearly legible and easy-to-understand warning sign to prevent
anyone switching it on again

After opening the machine, discharge any electrically charged components
(e.g. capacitors).

Caution! Inadequate PE conductor connections can cause serious injury and
damage. The housing screws provide a suitable PE conductor connection for
grounding (earthing) the housing and must NOT be replaced by any other
screws which do not provide a reliable PE conductor connection.

(3) Rubber cover
(4) External LocalNet connection socket with cable harnesses
(5) 2 M4 x 8 mm screws
(6) Internal LocalNet connection socket with cable harnesses
(7) 11GW422 PCB
(8) Short brass spacer
(9) 2 long brass spacers
(10) 2 M5 x 10 mm screws
(11) 6 long plastic spacers
(12) 3 short plastic spacers

Removing Local­Net connection

On the rear of the power source, remove
the existing LocalNet (13) connection
socket:

1. Take off rubber cover

2. Undo 2 M4 x 8 mm screws

1. On the rear of the power source, remove the metal plate (14) (Fig.3)

2. Carefully remove the metal plate (14)

Note! When removing the metal plate (14), do not pinch, bend or strain the
cables.

Note! If there are no thread bolts on the inside of the metal plate (14), a suitable
plate (32,0409,2657) with thread bolts is available.

Note! Fit short brass spacer (10)
as shown in the illustration.

Note! Place the long brass spacers (9) on the earthed hole of the GW422 PCB
(7) as shown in the illustration.

1. Secure the GW422 PCB (9) using two long brass spacers (9) and six long plastic
spacers (11) as shown in the illustration

2. Connect the cable harnesses of the
internal LocalNet (6) connection
socket to the GW422 PCB: X2 and X7

3. Connect the cable harnesses (4) of the
external LocalNet connection socket
to the GW422 PCB: X1 and X6

4. Connect the cable harness for Cfg­Mem (2) to the GW422 PCB: X8

5. Connect RS422 ribbon cable (1) to
GW422 PCB: X3

1. First connect the removed LocalNet connection socket (13) to the internal LocalNet
(6) connection socket

2. Insert the external LocalNet connection socket (4)

- in free bushing on the metal plate (14)

- and secure using 2 M4 x 8 mm (5) screws

3. Attach the rubber cover (3) to the external LocalNet (4) connection socket

Note! When locating the metal plate (14), do not pinch, bend or strain the
cables.

4. On the rear of the power source, locate the metal plate (14) carefully and secure in
place
