
In order to perform the update of LG battery please perform the following steps:
1) Activate the WiFi Access Point under the Setup menu on the inverter.
2) Connect the end device to the WiFi access point: SSID = FRONIUS_239.xxxxx (4 – 8 digits)
- Search for a network with the name “FRONIUS_239.XXXXX”
- Establish a connection to this network.
- Enter the Password: 12345678.
(Alternatively, connect the end device and inverter using an Ethernet cable)
3) Enter the following in the browser:

192.168.250.181 (IP address for WiFi connection)
OR
169.254.0.180 (IP address for LAN connection)

4) Click on the message stating that the battery needs to be updated:
5) For login, choose the “admin” user and enter the correct password in the dedicated field (The password
was created by you or the installer during commissioning; Fronius has no access to it):

6) A page will appear with different setting options. Under "Update", select "Local" and click "Run update”:
7) The update will start and run to completion. ATTENTION: This can take up to 1.5 hrs. Wait until the end of
the update and do not interrupt the connection or do not turn off the inverter and battery!
8) A message will appear stating that the update was successful. Confirm the message by clicking "OK":
