WARNUNG! Ein elektrischer Schlag kann tödlich sein. Vor Öffnen des Gerätes
- Netzschalter in Stellung - O - schalten
- Gerät vom Netz trennen
- ein verständliches Warnschild gegen Wiedereinschalten anbringen
- mit Hilfe eines geeigneten Messgerätes sicherstellen, dass elektrisch geladene Bauteile (z.B. Kondensatoren) entladen sind
WARNUNG! Fehlerhaft durchgeführte Arbeiten können schwerwiegende Personen- und Sachschäden verursachen. Nachfolgend beschriebene Tätigkeiten
dürfen nur von geschultem Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden! Beachten Sie das
Kapitel „Sicherheitsvorschriften“ in der Bedienungsanleitung der Stromquelle und
der Systemkomponenten.

WICHTIG! Bei Verwendung der externen Versorgungsspannung von US1 oder US2 als
Versorgung des Busmasters, muss das E-Set „Externe Versorgung UBST“ (Artikelnummer 4,100,501) verwendet werden.

WICHTIG! Werksseitig ist „Filter time“ auf 30 ms eingestellt. Der Einstellbereich erstreckt
sich von 20 bis 200 ms.
HINWEIS! Je höher der Wert, desto sicherer, aber auch umso langsamer wird die
Signaländerung.
Bei Bedarf, den Wert für „Filter time“ ändern

WARNING! An electric shock can be fatal. Before opening the device
- Turn the mains switch to the "O" position
- Unplug the machine from the mains
- Put up an easy-to-understand warning sign to stop anybody inadvertently
switching it back on again
- Using a suitable measuring instrument, check to make sure that electrically
charged components (e.g. capacitors) have discharged
WARNING! Work that is carried out incorrectly can cause serious injury and damage. The following activities must only be carried out by trained and qualified personnel. Read the "Safety rules" chapter in the power source and system
components operating instructions.

IMPORTANT! When using the external US1 or US2 supply voltage to supply the bus mas-
ter with power, the "External UBST power supply" I-kit (item number 4,100,501) must be
used.
Undo the four screws (1) and remove

Activating the
ROB I/O
The "Field bus configuration" dialog box appears
Open the "Service module" software

Select the "AB interface" entry in the

"Service module" window (node list)
- The "Configuration" button becomes active
Click the "Configuration" button

Click the "System settings" folder

Open the ROB I/0 = "NOT CONNECT"

entry in the right-hand "Field bus configuration" display window
- "Connect" appears

Select the checkbox next to "Connect"

- The ROB I/O entry changes from
"NOT CONNECT" to "CONNECT"
Double-click the ROB I/O = "CONNECT" entry
Double-click "Filter time"

- The value for "Filter time" appears
IMPORTANT! The factory setting for "Filter time" is 30 ms. It can take any value between
20 and 200 ms.
NOTE! The higher the value, the slower the change in signal, though it will be
more secure.
If necessary, change the value for "Filter time"
