CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION FOR THE FRONIUS COMPETITION:
SOLAR.WEB PREMIUM ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP
1. Organiser
The organiser of this competition is Fronius International GmbH, with its registered office in A-4643
Pettenbach, Froniusstrasse 1, Austria, hereinafter referred to as Fronius. Participation in the Fronius
International GmbH competition is conditional upon participation in the survey on the purchase of
sustainable solar energy solutions and is governed solely by these conditions of participation.
The competition will be organised as part of a newsletter in the Solar. web digital tool.
For reasons of readability, the neutral or masculine form of the term "participant" and "winner" is largely
used in these conditions of participation. Of course, the corresponding female form is always meant as
well.
Errors and misprints excepted.
2. Procedure of the competition
Every participant who completes the survey has the opportunity to take part in the competition.
The entry period for the competition begins on 31.03.2022 (17.00 CET) and ends on 22.04.2022 (12.00
CET).
3. Participation and eligible participants
Participation in this competition is free of charge, but subject to completion of the survey on the purchase
of sustainable solar energy solutions. In order to participate in the competition, the conditions of
participation must be accepted before entering the competition. Participation is only possible within the
participation period.
Participation in the competition is only possible once per customer.
All natural persons aged 18 and over who are resident in Germany and Australia are eligible to participate.
For the purposes of the competition, a participant is the natural person who has completed the survey on
the purchase of sustainable solar energy solutions and subsequently takes part in the competition and
accepts the conditions of participation. Should a participant be restricted in his/her legal capacity, the
consent of his/her legal representative is required.
Participation does not give rise to any legal claims and Fronius accepts no liability.

4. Exclusion from the competition
Employees of Fronius and other persons involved in the conception and implementation of this competition,
as well as Solar. web users residing outside Germany and Australia, are excluded from participation.
Fronius expressly reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude any person from participation for
justifiable reasons, such as (a) tampering with access to or conduct of the Contest, (b) breach of these
Terms and Conditions, (c) acting unfairly, or (d) providing false or misleading information in connection
with participation in the Contest.
5. Winning, notification and transmission of the prize
The following prize will be awarded twenty times:
Solar.web PREMIUM annual membership worth € 23.80 incl. tax. (Germany) or $ 39.00 incl. tax
(Australia) each
The twenty winners will be determined on 22 April 2022 or on the working day following this date as part
of a random draw among all participants. The winners of the draw will be informed of the prize in a timely
manner via a separate e-mail. The prize will only be handed over to the winner or the winner's legal
representative. It is not possible to exchange, collect or pay out the prize in cash. Fronius will bear any
costs incurred in shipping the prize. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize will be borne
by the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize.
If the winner does not confirm the prize within 3 weeks after two requests, the prize will be forfeited and
another participant will be determined as the winner by a new draw.
The right to win is not transferable. The legal process and cash payment are excluded.
The winner agrees to be named as the winner in the advertising media used by Fronius, in particular
websites and social media platforms.
6. Termination of the competition
Fronius expressly reserves the right to terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and
without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the
competition from running as planned. The competition will be terminated prematurely in particular if proper
execution cannot be guaranteed for technical (e.g. errors or manipulation affecting the hardware and/or
software used) or legal reasons
7. Data protection
The processing of the participant's personal data is necessary for participation in the competition. This
includes, in particular, the personal data collected from the participant himself/herself, such as e-mail
addresses. The participant is responsible for the correctness of his/her data.

Fronius processes personal data in accordance with the statutory provisions and the European Union's
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The personal data of the participants will be used exclusively for the participation, the implementation of
the competition and the announcement, publication and delivery of the prize and processed for these
purposes by Fronius. The participant's personal data will not be passed on to third parties or made available
to them for use without the participant's consent.
In the event of a win, the winner, by accepting these terms and conditions of entry, agrees to the publication
of their name in the advertising media used by the organiser. This includes the announcement of the winner
on the Fronius website and its social media platforms.
In connection with their personal data, every participant has the fundamental right to information,
correction, deletion, restriction, objection, revocation of consent, data portability and to lodge a complaint
with Fronius at dataprotection@fronius.com or with the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse
40-42, 1030 Vienna.

8. Applicable law
Questions or complaints in connection with the competition should be addressed to Fronius. Contact details
can be found below. The operator's competition is subject exclusively to Austrian law. Legal recourse is
excluded.
9. Severability clause
Should any provision of these Conditions of Participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall
not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Conditions of Participation. In place of the invalid
provision, the legally permissible provision that comes closest in economic terms to the meaning and
purpose expressed in the invalid provision shall apply. The same shall apply in the event of a loophole in
these Conditions of Participation.
