FRONIUS SNAPINVERTER INSTALLATION BEST PRACTICES CHECKLIST
Does the Fronius SnapINverter meet or exceed proper Fronius SnapINverter mounting orientations? Does mounting distance meet minimum spec ification s of 4 inches inner contact and 8 inches outer conta ct? Is the SnapINverter external lower cover properly installed and torqued to manufacturer specifications of 2.5 NM? Is the bottom DATCOM access cover free from moisture prior to installation? Were all inverter components kept dry during the installation? Is the SnapINverter mounting bracket flush and true to the mounting surface? Does the SnapINverter have added support to maintain the integrity of the physical installation for:
/ Fronius SnapINverter Pole Mounting ( Please see the manual ) / Unstable Wall Mounting ( Adobe Stucco Wood Drywall )
Does the conduit installation meet but not exceed the size limitation of the SnapINverter’s physical conduit acce ss point and structure?
Does the conduit/EMT meet RainTight specifications to disallow moisture ingress? Are the conduit/EMT compression connectors RainTight specific? Are the installed conduit/EMT grounding bushings free from obstructing the mating of the SnapINverter brac ket/power
stack? Are the DC and AC cables installed with the necessary service loop length and do not pose physical interference with
the inverter bracket/power stack closure? Are the AC cables torqued to the specification listed by the specific SnapINverters’ installation manual provided with
the inverter? Are the cables routed behind the DC disconnect actuator? Are the DC MPPT tracker cables installed with a 1.8 NM of torque as specified on the MPPT terminal block? Has the inverter’s firmware been updated to the latest version listed on www.fronius-usa.com Are calibrated torque drivers used in all locations specified in the installation guide? Are the security/mounting screws of the SnapINverter’s power stack to the mounting base equal torque of 2.5 NM?
Are your DC PV cables ungrounded? Are DC voltage and polarity measure ments corre ct with inverter specificatio ns?
