MANUFACTURING PLANT IN ROTTENBACH
/ Austria's largest photovoltaic façade system
/ VTA produces fully biocompatible products for wastewater treatment. The
building has a photovoltaic system integrated into the façade as well as a roof-
mounted system, and is also the first plus-energy factory building in Austria.
With the help of photovoltaics, it produces more energy than it consumes.
“In the face of rising energy costs, investing in the photovoltaic system was an
important commercial decision. We were adamant that we needed a quality prod-
uct from Austria. The system has performed flawlessly right from the day it was
first switched on,” enthuses Maximilian Schneiderbauer, authorised representa-
tive at VTA.
