ALEXA SKILL

Installation and usage

REQUIREMENTS

/ Amazon Echo, Amazon Echo Dot, Amazon Echo Plus or Amazon Echo Spot

/ Alexa app for Android or iOS

/ PV system with at least one Fronius inverter that is registered in Fronius Solar.web and regularly sends PV data

/ Fronius Solar.web Premium account

/ For some questions: a Fronius storage solution, a Fronius Smart Meter and/or a Fronius Ohmpilot

INSTALLATION

1. Launch the Alexa app.

2. Go to menu and select “Skills”..

3. Search for the „Fronius Solar.web“ skill and select it to open the skill detail page.

4. Select the “Enable skill” option or ask Alexa to open the skill.

5. A window with a login form for Solar.web pops up. Log in with your Solar.web credentials (email address and password)

in order to link the skill to your Solar.web account.

6. After successful login (“Fronius Solar.web has been successfully linked.“) close the window.

7. You can use the “Fronius Solar.web” skill now.

8. Always start your questions with the phrase “Alexa, ask Solar.web….” (pronounced: Solarweb) or start the skill by saying

“Alexa, start Solar.web” and then ask your questions.
