instructions with your Owner's
Manual for future reference.
• Skill Level - Installation of this
dishwasher requires basic mechanical
and electrical skills. Proper
installation is the responsibility
of the installer. Product failure
due to improper installation is not
covered under the ELECTROLUX
Appliance Warranty.
• Completion Time - 1 to 3 Hours. New
installations require more time than
replacement installations.
IMPORTANT - Thedishwasher
MUST be installed to allow for future
removal from the enclosure if service
is required.
If you received a damaged dishwasher,
you should immediately contact your
dealer or builder.

• Airgapmustbeusedif wasteteeordisposerconnectionis
lessthan18"abovethefloortopreventsiphoning.

FORPERSOHALSAFETY:Removehousefuse
oropencircuitbreakerbeforebeginning
installation.Donotuseanextensioncordor

adapterplugwiththisappliance.
Electrical Requirements
• Thisappliancemustbesuppliedwith120V,60Hz.,and
connectedtoanindividualproperlygroundedbranchcircuit,
protectedbya15or20amperecircuitbreakerortimedelay
fuse.
• Wiringmustbe2wirewithground.
• iftheelectricalsupplydoesnotmeettheaboverequirements,
callalicensedelectricianbeforeproceeding.
Grounding Instructions - Cable Direct
Thisappliancemustbeconnectedtoagroundedmetal,permanent
wiringsystem,oranequipmentgroundingconductormustberun
withthecircuitconductorsandbeconnectedtotheequipment
groundingterminalorleadontheappliance.
Grounding Instructions - Power Cord
Models
hisappliancemustbegrounded,intheeventofamalfunctionor
breakdown,groundingwillreducetheriskofelectricalshockby
providingapathofleastresistanceforelectriccurrent.Theplug
mustbepluggedintoanappropriateoutletthatisinstalledand

• Forcabledirectconnectionsthecablemustberoutedasshown
inFigureE.Cablemustextendaminimumof24"fromtherear
wall.
• Forpowercordconnections,installa3-pronggroundingtype
receptacle.Thepower-supplyreceptaclefortheapplianceshall
beinstalledinacabinetoronawailadjacenttothe
undercounterspaceinwhichtheapplianceistobeinstalled.
