Troubleshooting tips

Power failure
If youhave apower failure, theunit's auto-restart featurewill resume operation
in the selected mode prior to the power failure.
Won't cool?
If your air conditioner operates, but won’t cool; check to see if the controls
are properly set. Check the filter and clean thoroughly if needed. Check to
see if the chassis seal gasket is installed (refer to Installation Instructions,
Step 8, page 8).
Won't run?
Make sure the power cord is plugged in completely. Check for a bad fuse,
tripped breaker or tripped LCDI Device. Refer to page 3 for LCDI reset
instructions and to con¿rm proper fuse size.

the unit off by pressing the On/Off button once and then unplug the unit.
Finally, plug the unit back in and turn it on by pressing the On/Off button
once. All settings revert back to the factory default settings.
This is a warm weather appliance
Your air conditioner is designed to cool in warm weather when the outside
temperature is above 60°F (16°C), soit won't cool aroom if it isalready cool
outside. Also, itwill not provideadequate heating whenthe outdoor ambient
temperature falls below 37°F (3°C).
Condensation is normal
Air conditioners actually pump the heat and humidity from your room to the
of thewater to keepthe outside coil cool. Ifthere is excessive humidity, there

Cleaning your air conditioner
The decorative front and the cabinet can be cleaned with warm water and a
