slip pads on the base of the alarm
must be in contact with the floor.
When the door is opened and the
wedge pressed the siren will
activate. The siren will stop when
pressure on the wedge is released.
Note: Switch the alarm OFF to
prevent accidental operation when
not in use.
TESTING
It is recommended that the alarm
is tested at regular intervals by
switching the device On and
pressing the wedge to activate
the siren.
Note:
A cloth can be used to cover
the siren and reduce the sound
output of the alarm during testing.
MAINTENANCE
The product may be cleaned with
a soft damp cloth and then wiped
dry. Do not use abrasive, solvent
based or aerosol cleaners as this
may damage and/or discolour the
product. Do not allow water to
enter or attempt to clean inside
the unit.
Batteries:
Remove batteries before storing
the Alarm for extended periods. Do
not allow batteries to corrode and
leak as this may cause permanent
damage to the product.

Do not fit rechargeable batteries.
At the end of their
useful life the batteries
should be disposed
of via a suitable
Recycling Centre. Do
not dispose of with your normal
household waste. DO NOT BURN.
Fitting and Replacing
Batteries:
1) To prevent the alarm activating
while changing or fitting the
batteries ensure it is switched
OFF.
2) Undo and remove battery cover
fixing screws on underside of
product.
3) Unclip and remove the battery
compartment cover.
4) Connect a new 9V PP3 (6LR61)
Alkaline battery to the battery
clip observing the correct
polarity and fit into the battery
compartment. Take care not to
trap the cable.
5) Refit the battery cover and
replace the fixing screws.
