2 Getting Started
2.1 Unpacking the System
The Zoom ColdFire LITE Development Kit is comprised of the following items:
■ Mini-ITX LITE Baseboard
■ Fire Engine
■ CD ROM (See CD ROM Contents Section)
■ Serial Cable
■ BDM Interface
■ Ethernet crossover cable
■ Parallel extension cable
■ 5 volt power supply with power adapters (US, UK, EUR, and Japan)
■ Warranty Card
■ QuickStart Guide
■ Packing List
■ Third party development tools and software wrapped in individual CDs
Note: Avoid touching the MOS devices. Static discharge can and will damage these devices.
Once you have verified that all the items are present, remove the board from its protective jacket
and anti-static bag. Check the board for any visible damage and ensure that there are no broken,
damaged, or missing parts.
