Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered
benches and dark areas increase the risk of
accidents.

while operating the tool. Distractions could result
in improper use of tool and cause injury.
PERSONAL SAFETY
Stay alert. Do not use tool while tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A
moment of inattention while operating the tool may
cause serious injury.
Make sure the cords are free of obstructions or
snags. Entangled or ensnared cords can cause
loss of balance or footing and may become

Maintain the tool with care. Keep tool clean. A

TOOL USE AND CARE
Know this tool. Read manual carefully, learn its
applications and limitations, as well as the specific
potential hazards related to this tool.
Keep the tool dry, clean, and free from oil and
grease. Always use a clean cloth when cleaning.
Never use brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-based
products, or any strong solvents to clean your tool.

Do not drop or throw the tool. Dropping or
throwing the tool can result in damage that will
make the tool unusable or unsafe. If the tool has
been dropped or thrown, examine the tool closely
for bent, cracked or broken parts. If damage has
been done to tool do not use.
Never use this tool for anything other than the
application it was originally designed for.
Only use this tool for 12V vehicles. Using this
product for any other vehicle could be dangerous
for the user, vehicle, or tool.
Do not expose tool to moisture or rain.
Never open or disassemble this tool. This will
void the tools warranty.
Do not expose the tool to fire, fumes, gas, dust,
or extreme heat. This could cause harm to the
user.
Only charge this product at temperatures
between 32°F to 114°F.
Do not insert foreign objects into any inputs or
outputs.
Only use this product in a well-ventilated area.
Do not allow the teeth of the clamps to touch
while connected to the battery jumper.
Only connect the black clamp to the negative
terminal and the red clamp to the positive
terminal.
Do not expose the battery jumper to temperatures over 140°F. This could cause a safety
hazard to the user or others in the working area.
Always disconnect the jumper cables from the
battery jumper after use.
Do not crush, puncture, or penetrate the battery
jumper. This could cause harm to the user.
In the event that any corrosive liquid leaks out
of the battery jumper discontinue use. If any of
the corrosive liquid comes in contact with the users
skin or eyes, immediately wash with running water
and consult a doctor.
Never modify this tool in any way.
Store the tool out of reach of children or
untrained people. The tool can be dangerous in
the hands of untrained users.
Dispose of the battery jumper properly, this
battery jumper needs to be recycled. T o find your
nearest recycling facility call 1-800-822-8837.
TOOL SERVICE

manufacturer for the specific tool model.
Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow

UNPACKING
This tool has been shipped completely assembled.
Carefully remove the tool and any accessories
from the box.
Inspect the tool carefully to make sure no breakage
or damage occurred during shipping.

Insert the smart safety connector plug into the jump
starter. The jump starter should automatically
power on. If it does not, press the power button on
the jump starter.

Make sure the vehicle key is in the “OFF” position.
For push-to-start vehicles, make sure the vehicle is
in completely "OFF" before jump starting. Then
locate the positive and negative battery terminals.
The positive is normally labeled with a (+) and/or
red coloring. Connect the red clamp to the positive

terminal and the black clamp to the negative
terminal of the vehicle battery.

3. Check the lights on the smart safety connector.
GREEN LIGHT ON:
The clamps are placed in the correct position and
the circuit is completed. Jump start the vehicle
within 30 seconds.
GREEN LIGHT BLINKING WITH BUZZING:
The vehicle battery is low. Press the “BOOST”
button, wait until the GREEN LIGHT becomes
solid, then turn on the engine within 30s.
RED LIGHT ON WITH BUZZING:
The clamps are clamped on to the incorrect
terminals. Reconnect the clamps to the correct
terminals, wait till the GREEN LIGHT is on, then
turn

on the engine.
NO LIGHTS ON AND NO BUZZING:
The battery may be to low. Make sure the clamps
are connected correctly, press the “BOOST” button
and wait for the GREEN LIGHT to come on. If the
light does come on, turn on the engine within 30s.
If the light does not come on, take the vehicle to a
certified mechanic or consult the owner’s manual.

Start the car engine. If after 3 seconds engine does
not start, turn key to “OFF” position. Detach the car
jumper clamps, then restart steps 1-4.

Unplug the cable plug from the jump starter.

CHARGING THE CAR JUMPER
1.
Plug wall charger/car charger cable into the wall/
car input. Then plug the cable into the input port of
the car jumper. The light indicator should start to
blink while the jumper is being charged.
CHARGING A PHONE, TABLET, OR
OTHER USB DEVICES
1.
Plug the USB cable into the USB output on the
jump starter. Then insert charging cable into the
device that needs to be charged. Press the power
button on your jump starter and the device will
begin to charge.
CHARGING A LAPTOP OR OTHER
DEVICE

The car jumper comes with 8 adapter tips and an
adapter cable to charge 19V and 12V devices. The
car jumper also has two outputs (12V and 19V).
Check the device’s voltage and current output
rating and plug the adapter into the appropriate
output. Then choose the appropriate tip that
matches the input of your device and plug it in.
Turn on the car jumper and the device will will start
to charge.

USING THE LED LIGHT

Hold power button until the LED light powers on.
Press power button to cycle through the different
light modes (normal, strobe, SOS, and off).

CLEANING
Clean the entire tool with a cotton rag after each use.
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts.
Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various
types of commercial solvents and maybe damaged by
their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil,
grease, etc.

MAINTENANCE

months in order to prolong the battery

Refer to your vehicle owner’s manual or have the
car taken to a certified mechanic to determine the
issue.
The car jumper will power off if you do not try to
start the car within 30 seconds of powering on
the jumper. If it is off turn the jumper on.
Ensure the cable clamps have maximum
connection on both sides of each clamp.
Place the car in PARK, some vehicles cannot be
started when not in the PARK setting.
Charge your car jumper.
Clean battery terminals to provide a better
connection.

the Freeman Product is free from defect in materials and workmanship subject to the exceptions and limitations
contained herein. PGP shall at its option, repair, replace, or offer a full refund for a Freeman Product that has a
defect in materials or workmanship.
A DATED SALES RECEIPT OR PROOF OF PURCHASE FROM THE ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASER IS
REQUIRED TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM. Warranty registration is also required and can be accomplished
through On-Line Product Registration at www.primeglobalproducts.com, select SUPPORT, select PRODUCT
REGISTRATION. To make a warranty claim, the original purchaser must return the Freeman Tool, postage
prepaid and insured, with proof of purchase to PGP or any of its authorized service centers. For questions please

Repairs or alterations have been made, or attempted, by others, and/or the unauthorized use of non-conforming parts or accessories.
Repairs are required due to normal wear and tear.
The Tool has been abused, misused, improperly maintained or operated, including: the failure to use clean,
dry, regulated compressed air at the recommended pressure; accidents caused by use of the Freeman
Product after partial failure.
The Freeman Product is used commercially in assembly lines or production lines. The Freeman Product is
intended for use by individuals and these warranties do not extend to such commercial uses.
NO WARRANTY, ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, OTHER THAN THE ABOVE WARRANTIES IS MADE WITH REGARD TO THIS FREEMAN PRODUCT. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES WILL BE
