Operation Instructions:

1. To Fix Supercharger Pro onto bag

Supercharger Pro can be fixed with either with the
fasteners and/or the adjustable Velcro strap, whichever
offers the most secure fixing. Take care when opening
the teeth of the fasteners - always lift up the rear of the
fasteners first.

Tip - Supercharger Pro will always perform at its best
if held on a tilted plain (45 degrees or vertical) if facing
the sun or on the horizontal plain if facing away from
the sun.

Performance

The charger will fully charge a FreeLoader Pro in
as little as 3 hours* if the charger is facing the sun.
Longer charge-up times should be expected if
facing away from the sun or on a cloudy day.

Please note - prolonged exposure of Freeloader Pro to
sun/daylight will not damage the battery because of its
in-built advanced charge control electronics, therefore
Supercharger Pro can be left connected to Freeloader Pro
long term without risk of damage.

3. When to use Supercharger Pro

Supercharger Pro can be used in all weather conditions,
however, the pocket that houses Freeloader Pro should be
securely fastened using the Velcro closure and in torrential
rain we would recommend keeping both products in a
dry location.

4. Cleaning

It is important for optimum performance that Supercharger
Pro’s solar panel is kept clean and free from dust,
condensation etc. Therefore, if Supercharger Pro has been
used in wet or dusty conditions, as soon as possible remove
the solar cell from the tough case and clean the cell with a
soft cloth. The tough case can be brushed free of dust and
it’s clear window cleaned or allowed to dry.

5. Warning

Supercharger Pro is only designed to be used in conjunction
with FreeLoader Pro. Do not use it to charge any device
directly or to power any other type of charger.

6. Special Note

Since Freeloader Pro was launched, a technical
modification was made to the circuit board to enable
it to be compatible with Supercharger Pro. If you are
in possession of the very first batch of Freeloader Pro it

2. To Charge FreeLoader Pro using
Supercharger Pro

Open Freeloader Pro so both solar panels are exposed.
Open the pocket on Supercharger Pro (the top edge
nearest the solar panel has a Velcro strip securing it).
Insert the Freeloader Pro so that its input/output
sockets are facing up toward the Supercharger
Pro’s solar panel.

Note – there is a filler block in the pocket
to support the panel of Freeloader Pro.

Connect the cable fitted
inside Supercharger
Pro’s pocket to the
socket on Freeloader
Pro named “DC-IN”.
Supercharger Pro
and Freeloader
Pro are now
ready for use.

LED INDICATORS

On Supercharger Pro

LED A

This will be illuminated GREEN if Freeloader Pro is connected and
Supercharger Pro is delivering full power (as it will in sunshine)

LED B

This will be illuminated RED indicating that there is available
power from Supercharger Pro but Freeloader Pro is not connected
or incorrectly connected

On Freeloader Pro

On connection to Freeloader Pro, LED B (GREEN) will lighten up to show charging
is in progress - there will be no LED’s alight on Freeloader Pro

will need to be modified. You can easily identify if your
Freeloader Pro is from the first batch. Only Freeloader Pro
from this batch has the four segment circle around the
“Pro” part of the logo (fig 1). Subsequent batches have the
two segment circle (fig 2). If your Pro is the later it will be
fully compatible with Supercharger Pro.

If you have the four segment logo please return your
Freeloader Pro to Solar Technology International Ltd,
Unit 4, Station Drive, Bredon, Nr. Tewkesbury, Glos.
GL20 7HH. We will return your Freeloader Pro, fully
modified and tested along with a cheque for £3.50 to
cover the cost of your return postage. We apologise for
this inconvenience.

6. Warranty

Supercharger Pro is supplied with a 12 month warranty.
Should a failure occur during this time Solar Technology
International Ltd will repair or replace any fault, at
its discretion.

Solar Technology International Ltd does not accept liability
for any 3rd party damage how so ever caused or any costs
associated with the return postage of faulty products.

These warranty conditions in no way affect your statutory
rights. A full set of Solar Technology International Ltd terms
and conditions are available on request.
