SFP/mini-GBIC ZX Single-Mode fiber transceiver

The freeConnect Mod S280 is a high performance
1310nm single-mode SFP/mini-GBIC transceiver
supporting full-duplex, gigabit speeds for distances
of up to 80km on 9µ single-mode fiber. This hot
pluggable unit has a metal housing to reduce EMI
and to increase durability.

The freeConnect Mod S280, interface fully complies
with the IEEE 802.3z 1000BASE-ZX standard. How

­ever, the higher optical quality allows them to reach
80km over single-mode fiber (SMF).
