Star String Lights
Pease read the following carefully to ensure the satisfactory and safe operation of these lights.
Follow instructions closely as deviation from them may void your warranty and present a possible safety risk.

Instructions for Use
This set of lights is fitted with PUSH IN bulbs, it is important to follow these instructions to ensure the satisfactory and safe
operation of these lights in use. This set has been designed so that under normal conditions, if a bulb fails the remaining bulbs
should stay alight provided the defective bulb is otherwise undamaged and remains firmly pushed into the bulb holder. A
defective bulb can be removed and replaced by a spare bulb included in the set. Care must be taken that the bulb is not crushed.
To avoid the risk of overheating, failed bulbs should be replaced immediately by bulbs of the same rated voltage and wattage.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO UNSCREW THESE PUSH IN FITTINGS. DISCONNECT FROM MAINS SUPPLY BEFORE REMOVING OR
INSERTING ANY BULBS
Failure of this Set to Light
Disconnect the set from the mains supply
Make sure that each bulb is pushed well into the bulb holder
How to Replace Bulb
Grip the plastic collar at the base of bulb between thumb and forefinger and pull out bulb complete with the collar, taking care
not to crush the bulb. Do not attempt to unscrew these push in type fittings as this could damage the holder. Reverse procedure
to insert replacement bulb.

Do not operate this set in the packaging
Do not operate in moist or very humid conditions
Disconnect from mains when not in use
Avoid damage to the wiring insulation
As with all electrical equipment, cable and fittings should not be exposed to direct heat or flame
Ensure adequate airflow around each lamp
Do not connect this set electrically to another set
If light chain is damaged, light set should be disposed of

Important
These bulbs are of the push in type, and on no account should they be twisted. Please note that bulbs must be inserted so that
both lead wires of the bulb base make effective contact with the socket terminals. If any bulb is inserted incorrectly, the set will
not light
