Clear Drop Tube Extension
Funnel may be used without nozzles to allow the reloader to readily transfer powder back into
the original factory container.
Assembly
Your Powder Funnel comes complete with the following components:
Parts List
Key Part # ......Description ........................Qty.
1 546543......Funnel Body............................1
2 306385......O-ring ....................................21
3 356719......Funnel Nozzles ......................16
4 794066......Drop Tube Extension..............1
Prior to initial use, some assembly is required. Detach the nozzles from the mold trees by simply twisting them off. Slip the pre-lubricated O-rings over the small end of each nozzle and the clear drop tube extension and roll the O-rings downward until they snap in place in the groove. Note: each nozzle has the caliber size molded into it. Match the caliber size on the nozzle to that shown on the storage box lid. Insert the completed nozzles (large end pointing downward) into the appropriate slot in the storage box.

Funnel Operation
For precisely weighed powder charges, we recommend that you throw powder into the powder pan of a powder scale with a Frankford Arsenal Supercharger™ Powder Dispenser or similar powder measure. Trickle the charge to the exact weight with a powder trickler, then charge the case using the Powder Funnel. Select a funnel nozzle that provides the correct fit for the caliber you are reloading and insert the small end of the nozzle into the bottom of the funnel body until it comes to a stop. Note: the nozzles fit the following calibers:
Caliber ..........................................................Use Nozzle
17 Cal. ..................................................................17
22 Cal. ..................................................................22
6mm....................................................................6mm
25 Cal. ..................................................................25
6.5mm & 270 ......................................................270
7mm....................................................................7mm
30 Cal., 7.5mm, 7.62mm,
303, 7.65mm, & 32 Cal. ......................................30
Caliber ..........................................................Use Nozzle
8mm & 338 ........................................................8mm
348, 9mm, 38, 35, & 9.3mm ................................38
375........................................................................375
10mm & 40 Cal ....................................................40.
41Cal.....................................................................41
44 Cal. ..................................................................44
45 Cal. ..................................................................45
22 through 30 Cal. (universal) ............................22+
30 through 50 Cal. (universal) ............................30+
With the funnel nozzle pointed downward, set the funnel assembly on the case mouth and charge the case with powder. Because the Powder Funnel is precision-fitted to the case neck, make sure you lift the funnel straight up to avoid lifting a charged case out of the reloading tray.
If powder granules stick to the funnel due to static electricity, wipe down the funnel with a laundry dryer sheet (such as “Cling Free” or “Bounce”), or dip the funnel in soapy dishwater and let it air dry.
If powder bridges, gently tap the funnel with your finger several times to help the powder flow freely.
The Drop Tube Extension
The Powder Funnel comes complete with a 3-1/2" clear drop tube extension for charging cases with compressed loads. The drop tube extension is “stackable” with additional drop tube extensions and can be used to create a drop tube of any length.
Maintenance
Clean the funnel, drop tube extension, and nozzles with a damp cloth or hand wash in warm soapy water. Never use petroleum based solvents to clean the funnel, drop tube extension, or nozzles. Do not use abrasive cleaners of any kind. Note: Failure to lubricate the O-rings can make nozzle installation or removal difficult. It is recommended that you lubricate the O-rings occasionally using a silicone based grease. Only a very light film is required. If a nozzle becomes stuck in the funnel, tape the exterior of the nozzle to prevent marring and use a pair of pliers to remove it from the funnel. Lubricate the O-ring prior to re-installation.
