Figure 1: Inferno Overview
The Inferno is shipped without batteries. It requires 4 AA batteries. We recommend the use of high quality alkaline batteries for the best performance, but for extreme low-temperature operation, lithium or rechargeable NiMH batteries work best. To install batteries in the Inferno:
1. Access the battery compartment by removing the door on the side of the Inferno and locate the black plastic battery tray. The tray features four cavities for 4 AA batteries. The tray is connected to a power cable inside of the Inferno. You may unplug this cable and remove the tray from the caller during battery installation. Never attach a 9V battery to the Inferno!
2. Place the batteries into each battery cavity while observing polarity as indicated.
3. Reconnect the power cable to the tray and place the tray back into the Inferno.
4. Secure the battery compartment back on to the Inferno.

2. Place the batteries into each battery cavity while observing polarity as indicated.
3. Slide the battery compartment door back on the transmitter.
Quick Start Guide
We realize that some of you may wish to jump directly into basic operations, such as playing sounds and using presets. This is a very brief overview and it is strongly recommended that you read the manual in its entirety to fully understand all of the capabilities of the system.

SHORTER THAN 1 METER (3 FEET). IF THE TRANSMITTER IS LOCATED TOO CLOSE TO THE CALLER, PROPER OPERATION CANNOT BE ENSURED.
