USER GUIDE

KEY FUNCTIONS
ON/OFF Press and hold ON/OFF for approximately 2
seconds. Display shows software version, then
'BUSY' while unit acquires radio signal from load
cell.
Live reading will now be displayed. Press and
hold to switch off.
(Auto switch-off after 20 mins. of no activity)
TARE Press to select NET/GROSS value. On start-up
the display will show previously used setting
(GROSS, or previous NET value). Gross weight is
indicated when is arrow above 'G'. Net weight is
indicated when arrow is above 'NET'.
PEAK HOLD Press to display only maximum measured load.
Display flashes while in PEAK mode.
Press again to return to live reading mode.
WARNING INDICATIONS
‘SIG LOW’ Indicated when unit is out of range, or not line
of sight. Signal strength will be affected by
battery life.
‘BATT LOW’ Indicates low battery condition. Displayed when
battery voltage drops below 2.4V
Separate indication for handset & load cell.
‘ERROR’ Indicated when the radio transmitter is not
receiving a signal from the load cell. In this
case, contact supplier for service.
‘OVERLOAD’ Indicated when load cell rated capacity is
exceeded by 2%
(If overload occurs, do not use load cell and return
to supplier for inspection and calibration )
Yearly inspection and re-calibration is advised to ensure correct
operation and safe use.

SPECIFICATIONS
SAFE USE
LOAD-MASTER is designed to accept all makes of Safety Bolt Shackle.
Check that shackles are of correct load rating relative to the maximum
capacity of the load cell. Check that the pin is the correct diameter for the
load cell attachment hole bushes.
Whichever hardware is used to attach the load cell, always ensure they are of
adequate strength to carry the maximum load of the load cell.
For lifting applications or overhead weighing, correct working practices should
be followed as per published regulations.
LOAD-MASTER load cells are proof loaded prior to calibration to ensure
compliance and safety of the load measurement operation.
They are supplied with a Certificate of Calibration & Conformity valid for 1
year. It is recommended they be returned to the address below for
re-calibration after 1 year to ensure correct operation and measurement
accuracy as per the specifications. A new Certificate of Calibration &
Conformity will be issued.
Do not use the device if any of the stated warning indications are displayed.
If the unit is suspected of being damaged, faulty, or has been overloaded, it
should be immediately returned for inspection and re-calibration.

WARRANTY
This equipment is provided with 1 year warranty from date of
supply, against manufacturing or operational defects, when used in
accordance with manufacturers instructions and specifications.
This warranty does not cover misuse, accidental damage, incorrect
installation, or damage in transit. Faults arising from these
conditions will be considered on an individual basis on return of the
faulty item.
The device should not be altered, modified or adapted in any way
as to affect it’s operation or use.
Any repair or calibration should be carried out by the manufacturer
or manufacturers authorised persons.
