DESCRIPTION
Multichannel amplifier with four output channels with independent volume control, 4 x 300 W max. 4 x 250
W RMS. 4-8 Ω low impedance output and 100, 75 and 25 V high impedance lines. Suitable for P.A. and
udio applications with different speaker zones which need independent volume control.
a
The preamp and mix stage has 4 balanced mic. inputs or selectable lines with Phantom power supply and
2 auxiliary line inputs.
Chimes and siren with volume control and TEL. PAGING telephone switchboard input.
Priority system in inputs, with maximum priority in the TEL. PAGING input and INPUT 1 through signal level.
And priority in INPUTS 2, 3 and 4 through contact closure.
It also has LED indicators to see how it is working and the state of the output stage for each channel; LED
protection, signal peak, input signal and operating indicator.
Protection circuits for temperature, overcharge, overload, surge or short-circuit. Forced ventilation with
adjustable speed depending on the internal temperature.
CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
FRONT PANEL
1.- CH1 to 4 (BASS, TREBLE, MASTER): output channel controls, BASS tone controls, TREBLE tone
controls and MASTER output volume control.
2.- CH1 to 4 (PROT, CLIP, SIG, ON): LED output channel indicators.
PROT lights up when an anomaly that has been produced by temperature, overcharge, surge or short-circuit
is detected. When protection is activated, the output signal is cut off.
CLIP lights up when the input signal to the amplification stage is very high and distorted.
SIG lights up when there is a signal in the amplification stage input.
ON lights up if the amplification stage of the channel works correctly.
3.- INPUT 1 to 4: volume controls for INPUTs 1 to 4.
4..- AUX 1 and 2: volume controls for inputs AUX 1 and AUX 2.
5.- POWER: power switch with LED indicator.
6.- CHIME: volume control and button for activating the musical chimes.
NOTE: to play the musical chimes, the CHIME PRIORITY contacts on the back panel must be closed.
7.- SIREN: volume control and button for playing the siren signal.

ACK PANEL
B
1.- SPEAKER OUTPUT TERMINALS: 4-8 Ω low impedance output and 100, 75 and 25 V high impedance lines.
2.- AC power supply socket.
3.- PRE OUT/AMP IN: output connectors from the PRE OUT and input connectors to the AMP IN. Both
connectors are connected by an external bridge to allow the signal to pass.
4.- AUX 1 and AUX 2: auxiliary line inputs.
5.- INPUT 1 PRIORITY: priority depending on the level in INPUT 1. On closing these contacts, the priority is
activated in INPUT 1 depending on the signal level. In this way when a signal is detected in INPUT 1 the rest
of the inputs will be weakened.
6.- GND: earth. This screw lets you connect the equipment to earth, if the 230 V AC connection used has not
already got one.
7.- CHIME PRIORITY: musical chimes and priority for INPUTs 2 to 4. On closing these contacts, the musical
chimes will be played if they have previously been activated with the CHIME button on the front panel. Priority
is also activated in INPUTs 2 to 4, weakening the AUX 1 and AUX 2 inputs.
8.- SIREN: when these contacts are closed, the siren goes off.
9.- TEL. PAGING and VOL: signal input for the telephone switchboard with Euroblock connector and VOL
control.
10.- INPUT 1 to 4: balanced mic./line inputs with Combo connector (Cannon/XLR and 6.3 mm stereo jack)
and balanced Euroblock. The input is adjusted depending on the characteristics of the signal using the
DIP-4 switch.
– Input sensitivity is selected using switch 1 (Line/Mic), for microphone signal or line signal.
– Switch 2 (Phase) inverts the phase of the input signal. This is used to avoid cancellations and to correct
phase inversions resulting from the connection, specially for unbalanced signals.
- On activating switch 3 (High Pass Filter), a high pass filter is inserted in the signal path to reduce low
frequency noise.
- Switch 4 (48 V Phantom) activates phantom power for condenser microphones (in Cannon/XLR and
Euroblock connector).
11.- Ventilation slits. The speed of the fan is variable depending on the temperature.

CONNECTION
onnect the speakers to the speaker output. Use the 4-8 Ω low impedance output or the 100, 75 or 25 V high
C
impedance lines, depending on the type of speakers that you are going to connect. Do not use both types
of output at the same time.
If you use the low impedance output, you must connect the loudspeakers in a series/parallel circuit so that
the impedance charge of the speakers is the same as the amplifier impedance, and the power supplied by
the amplifier must not exceed what is withstood by the speakers.
If you use the 100, 75 or 25 V high impedance line output, all the speakers must be connected in parallel and
the sum of the power of all the speakers must not exceed the power supplied by the amplifier.
Once the connections have been made depending on your needs, connect the equipment to the mains and
switch them on. After use, do not forget to switch them off and disconnect the equipment from the mains.
Example of connection to 100 V high impedance connection
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before switching the amplifier on, check that the output volume controls are at their minimum. Switch on the
rest of the audio system, and finally switch on the power amplifier and adjust the output volume.
To switch the system off, adjust the amplifier output volume and switch it off. Finally, switch off the rest of
the audio system.
PROTECTION
The amplifier has temperature, overcharge, overcurrent, surge and short-circuit protection.
When protection is activated, the LED PROT indicator lights up on the front panel, and the output signal is
cut off. In this case, switch off the power amplifier, revise the cause and leave the equipment for a while
before switching it on again.
MUSICAL CHIMES
The musical chimes can be used in two ways:
-To reproduce musical chimes from a distance (from a microphone). Firstly, you must activate the musical
tones on the front panel using the CHIME button. Afterwards, to reproduce the musical tones, the CHIME
PRIORITY contacts on the back panel must be closed (using the button or the button on the microphone).
This will also activate priority in INPUTs 2 to 4, weakening inputs AUX 1 and AUX 2.
-To reproduce the musical chimes from the amplifier, the CHIME PRIORITY contacts on the back panel
must be closed first. This will also activate priority in INPUTs 2 to 4 weakening the AUX 1 or 2 inputs. Then
you can play the musical chimes using the CHIME button on the front panel.

RIORITY IN THE INPUTS
P
The priority function in the inputs reduces the level of the inputs with less priority so that the message
transmitted by the inputs with priority can be heard clearly.
The inputs with maximum priority are TEL. PAGING and SIREN. When there is a signal in the TEL. PAGING
input or the SIREN is activated (by pressing the button on the front panel or closing the SIREN contacts on
the back panel) the level of the rest of the inputs is automatically reduced, INPUT 1 to 4 and AUX 1 and 2.
INPUT 1 is the second level of priority. To enable the priority function through signal level in INPUT 1, the
INPUT 1 PRIORITY contact on the back panel must be closed. In this way when a signal is detected in INPUT 1,
the rest of the inputs, INPUT 2 to 4 and AUX 1 and 2, will be weakened.
The last priority level is in the CHIME signal and INPUTs 2 to 4. This priority is activated by closing the CHIME
PRIORITY contacts on the back panel and weakens the AUX 1 and 2 inputs.
