Description

All Fohhn active speaker systems, DSP amplifiers and DSP
controllers are equipped with two Fohhn-Net network interfaces
as standard, which can be used to monitor and remotely operate
each individual device. If you are using several Fohhn devices,
you can easily interlink and monitor or remotely operate them
from a central location.
To connect the USB port of a PC or Laptop with the Fohhn-Net
Control Network a NA-1 is necessary.

Easy handling

The NA-1 don´t need an installation software and can be used to
several PCs. You only have to install the Fohhn Audio Soft Version
>2.4.0 user software on your PC before use.

Connectors

USB socket

The NA-1 is connected with the PC or laptop via the USB
connection. The USB connection also supplies power to the NA-1
and so an additional power supply is not required.

Fohhn-Net XLR socket

Fohhn-Net devices can be connected to the Fohhn-Net XLR socket
via standard XLR cables or multicore cables via the Fohhn-Net XLR

- RJ-45 adapter cable.

Fohhn-Net RJ-45

Fohhn-Net devices can be connected to the Fohhn-Net RJ-45
socket via RJ-45 patch cable.

The Fohhn-Net Control Network.

The intuitive Fohhn operating concept incorporates cable­connected and wireless remotecontrol options for fixed and
mobile Fohhn sound systems.

The remote control of the Fohhn devices via PC or Laptop is
extremely user-friendly and give the user complete control over
the audio system from acentral location. Individual devices
and entire systems can be operated synchronously from one of
several devices, opening up a whole range of different application
possibilities.

The Fohhn-Net system is nothing more than a control network,
i.e. no audio data is transferred, only control data. Fohhn-Net
can operate a maximum of 254 devices simultaneously via cable
at distances of up to 1800 m. At live events, you can use any
available microphone cables or your multicore and for fixed
installations, you can use conventional telephone or network
cables.

Bus or star networks are also an option here. A circular cabling
arrangement will achieve additional redundancy and ensure that
the network will function correctly if interrupted atany point.
The Fohhn-Net was designed in line with established industrial
standards andis very reliable due to a stable transfer protocol and
permanent monitoring (continuousfeedback during data transfer).
