When a cart is used, use caution when
moving the cart/apparatus combina­tion to avoid injury from tip-over.

Le FOCAL 100 IWSUB8 AMPLIFIER est un amplificateur de subwoofer de haute puissance

This FOCAL 100 IWSUB8 AMPLIFIER is an high-power subwoofer amplifier designed for installer,
and systems integrator with tabletop or rack-mountable design. This amplifier is able to power
up to 2 FOCAL 100 IWSUB8 subwoofers connected in parallel.

Instructions de mise en marche

1. Référez-vous aux consignes de sécurité.

2. Branchez les câbles du caisson de grave dans les bornes de sortie 7. Jusqu'à
deux subwoofers FOCAL 100 IWSUB8 peuvent être connectés en parallèle.

3. Connectez la source audio à l’entrée ligne RCA 6.

4. Vérifiez le sélecteur de tension 9 avant de brancher le cordon d’alimentation
au secteur.

5. Réglez le volume 3 au minimum, puis allumez l'amplificateur 2.

6. Ajustez le réglage du volume 3 de la phase 4 et du filtre passe-bas 5 en
fonction de l’installation.

Conditions de garantie

En cas de problème, adressez-vous à votre revendeur Focal.
La garantie pour la France sur tout matériel Focal est de 2 ans non transmissible

en cas de revente, à partir de la date d’achat. En cas de matériel défectueux, celui­ci doit être expédié à vos frais, dans son emballage d’origine auprès du revendeur,
lequel analysera le matériel et déterminera la nature de la panne. Si celui-ci est sous
garantie, le matériel vous sera rendu ou remplace en “franco de port”. Dans le cas
contraire, un devis de réparation vous sera proposé.

La garantie ne couvre pas les dommages résultant d’une mauvaise utilisation ou
d’un branchement incorrect (bobines mobiles brûlées par exemple...).

En dehors de la France, le matériel Focal est couvert par une garantie dont les
conditions sont fixées localement par le distributeur ociel Focal de chaque pays,
en accord avec les lois en vigueur sur le territoire concerné.

Start-up instructions

1. Refer to safety instructions.

2. Wire subwoofer cables in output binding posts 7. Up to 2 FOCAL 100 IW SUB8
subwoofers can be connected in parallel.

3. Connect audio source to RCA line input 6.

4. Check voltage selector 9 before connecting power cord to the main.

5. Set volume 3 to minimum, then switch ON the amplifier 2.

6. Adjust the volume 3, the phase 4 and the crossover point 5 according to the
system setup.

Conditions of warranty

Please contact your Focal retailer if you encounter any problems.
The warranty in France for any Focal product is valid for 2 years from the date of

purchase, and rights are non-transferable in case of resale. In the case of defective
equipment, the equipment must be shipped at your expense in its original packaging
to the dealer who will test the equipment in order to determine the nature of the
fault. If the product is still under warranty, the product will be returned to you or
replaced, shipping pre-paid. If the product is no longer under warranty, you will be
given a quote for the repairs.

The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use or incorrect
wiring (e.g. burnt out moving coils, for example).

Outside of France, Focal products are covered by a warranty whose conditions are
determined locally by the ocial Focal dealer in each country, in compliance with
the laws in force in the respective territory.
