GENERAL INFORMATION
Antenna
Your phone has a built-in antenna. Don’t touch the antenna area unnecessarily when the phone is switched on. Contact with the antenna affects call quality and may cause the phone to operate at a higher power level than otherwise needed. Use of other antenna devices could damage your mobile phone and reduce performance.
Network Service
To use the device you must have service from a network service provider. Some features are not available on all networks and some other features may require subscription from your network service provider. Check with your service provider for instructions on use and details about fees in your home network and/or while roaming on other networks.
Accessories
Your FLY mobile phone comes with a rechargeable Li-ion battery. Some batteries perform

Calling key
Make or answer a call; in Standby mode, retrieve recently dialed, missed or received numbers.
Left soft key
Execute functions indicated at the left of the prompt bar on the screen.
Music shortcut key
In Standby mode, access Audio player.
Camera shortcut key
In Standby mode, access Camera function.
Right soft key
Perform functions indicated at the right of the prompt bar on the screen.

Numeric keys
Enter numbers, letters and special characters. In Standby mode, press and hold # to
activate Meeting mode and “0” to activate
Torch. In Edit mode, press # to switch the input method.
Back Light
You can set the Back Light for the display and keypad through -Options in the menu. The backlight will turn off automatically after a while if there is no key operation.
Display Screen
Your mobile phone has a single screen display, which consists of three main areas: The first line displays status icons, which indicate the signal strength, the remaining power of the battery, etc. The -middle lines display text and graphics, including numbers, text, animated icons

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Use of Passwords
Your mobile phone and SIM card have various passwords. These passwords avoid unauthorized use of your phone and SIM card. You can change the PIN, PIN2 and phone password in Settings > Security settings.
Phone Code
. The factory setting for the phone code is 0000. If phone lock is enabled, you will be asked to input the phone password when you switch on your phone.
PIN (4 to 8 digits)
The PIN (Personal Identification Number) is usually supplied with the SIM card. When the PIN code request is enabled, the password is asked every time the phone is turned on. If a wrong PIN is entered3 times in a row, the SIM card will be locked and you will need to use the PUK to unlock it. PUK is usually set by the network operator.
1. Enter the correct PUK to unlock the SIM card, and then enter the new PIN and press OK.
2. If you are prompted to enter the new PIN again, enter it and press OK.
3. If the PUK is correct, the SIM card will be unlocked and the PIN will be reset.

Barring Code
To activate call barring, you need a Barring Code. You obtain the password from your service provider.
Battery Information
Charging and Discharging
The charger is designed to be used in temperatures between 0°C to 40°C. Do not charge the phone in wet and damp conditions. Only use batteries approved by the phone manufacturer and recharge your
battery only with the chargers approved by the manufacturer.

Your FLY mobile phone comes with a rechargeable Li-ion battery. Some batteries
perform best after several full charge/discharge cycles.
 .  When the battery level is low, “Low Battery” will be displayed on the LCD screen.
If you have selected Alert Tone for the same, the phone will sound the alert tone.
When a charger is not in use, disconnect it from the power source. Do not leave

Batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly. Please follow local
regulations for disposal of batteries.
Usage & Maintenance
Take a moment to review the following usage & maintenance tips, which will help you fulfill any warranty obligations and enjoy this product for many years.
Keep your phone and all its parts and accessories out of children’s reach. This Product is not water-resistant. Keep it dry. Precipitation, humidity and liquid
containing minerals will corrode the connectors.
Always handle this productwith care and keep it in a clean and dust-free place. Do not expose this product to extreme high or low temperatures. Your phone
operates best in temperature between 15 °C and 25°C. Minimum and maximum temperatures recommended by the manufacturer are -10°C and 55°C.
Do not expose itto open flames or lit tobacco products. Do not attempt to disassemble or modify yourphone. Only authorised personnel
should perform this service.
Do not drop, throw or try to bend your -phone. Do not paint your -phone. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean it.

While making an emergency call, please remember to give all information as particularly as possible. Never disconnect the call till you are given permission to do so.

GETTING STARTED
First Call
. Enter the area code and the phone number and press Calling Key.
Tip: Before you get started, you must insert a valid SIM card in your phone and
charge the battery.
SIM Card: Please refer to “Inserting a SIM Card” for more reference on
installation.
Charging the battery: Please refer to “Battery and Charging” for more details.
Inserting a SIM Card
Your mobile phone number, PIN (Personal Identification Number), PIN2, PUK (Personal Unlock Key), PUK2 (Personal Unlock Key2), IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity), the network information, the phonebook data, SMS (short messages) and other data are stored in your SIM card. Note: This particular phone model only supports the SIM cards of 1.8V and 3V. Some network operators don’t offer PIN2 and PUK2, so functions using these
passwords will be unavailable.
The SIM card and its contacts can be damaged by scratches or bend easily, so

If “Insert SIM” still appears on the screen after you have inserted the SIM
correctly, there may be something wrong with your SIM card. Please contact your network service provider for assistance.
If the screen displays that the SIM card is locked permanently, please consult
your network service provider.
Inserting a Memory Card
Open the cap from the Hinge Type Connector. Lay the T-Flash card with the gold contact facing down on the Connector and then close it. Align the card to the arrow sign as shown in the picture:

CALLING
Making Calls
1. Enter the phone number (with the area code)
2. Press the Calling Key to make a call.
3. Press the End Key to end a call.
Clear Previous Call Logs
Press the Right Soft Key to delete the last number on the screen. Long press the Right Soft Key to clear all the numbers that you have entered.
Making a call from the Phone Book
1. Press the Right Soft Key to access the Phone Book.
2. Scroll the Up/ Down key to select the desired number , and press the Calling Key
to call that number.
Last Number Redial
1. In the Standby mode, press the Calling Key to access the Call Logs.
2. Press the Up/Down key to reach the desired number or name and press the
Calling Key.

GUIDE TO MENU OPERATIONS
All function options about the mobile phone are listed as below with brief descriptions:
Messages
You can use Messaging to exchange text and multimedia messages with your friends.
Send SMS
1. Choose Menu > Messages to start messaging.
2. On the Messaging screen, choose Create New > SMS.
3. Use the keyboard on your phone to type your message.
4. Pressing Options while composing a message gives you various SMS features,
such as insert picture, video, template and so on.
Inbox: Store the messages received. Draft Box: Store the messages unfinished Out Box: Store the messages that have failed to send out
Sent BoxStore the messages that have been sent successfully

Menu > Messages> Cell Broadcast Cell Broadcast is an information service provided by the network operator. The service can be almost anything from weather forecast to cricket scores, traffic conditions and so on. You can choose your broadcast message setting by going to Menu > Messages> Settings> Cell Broadcast.
Note: Please contact your service provider for the details of the setting if it is not displayed by default. Similarly, from here, you can choose the settings for SMS, MMS, and voicemail.
Message Settings
Menu > Messages> Settings You can choose your preferences for SMS, MMS, Cell Broadcast, and Voice Mail from here. You can also view your message related memory status.
Phonebook
Through your contacts you can access your existing contacts as well as

the number, or delete and so on. Choose an entry in the call log and then, choose Delete to remove the entry from the log. View Missed, received, dialed and blocked calls by choosing the tabs in call history.
Settings
You can go to Settings to set various preferences for your phone. In the Standby mode, press the Left Soft Key to access Menu > Settings.
General
You can choose one mode as per your desire.
Personalization Display: With this function you can configure the basic status of display
characteristics including Wallpaper, Auto change wallpaper, Screen auto lock, Show Date and Time.
Language: Select the desired language for the display text. Navigation keys: select the shortcut functions you want Time and Date:
Set home city: Select the desired home city.

Phone
Call Waiting: On Activation, the network will notify you of a new incoming
call while you have a call in progress (Net work Service).
Call Divert: This network service allows you to divert your incoming calls to
another number. For details, contact your service provider.
Call Barring: This network service allows you to restrict incoming calls to
your phone. For details, contact your service provider.
Network Settings
You can configure the following options as desired: SIM1/SIM2 Network Selection (Automatic - suggested), GPRS transfer pref. Data prefer. Please consult your network operator for more information.
Line Switching: Switch between Line 1 or Line 2, the default is Line 1.
Advance settings
Auto Redial: You can set the Auto Redial function On or Off. When set it On, the phone will automatically redial the last called number after a while if you fail to connect to the number. Under auto redial your phone would attempt to
redial up to 10 times. You can’t make any other calls when the Auto Redial is
ongoing. Press Cancel to end Auto Redial.

Set a password, you can track your phone if stolen
Privacy Protection
Did someone scan your Personal Messages when you were out? Get smarter with MV264 Private Menu advantage. Keep your Call history, SMS, Phonebook, File and Key lock protected so that no one gets to know about your secrets. The default password is 0000.
Auto Call Record Setting
When turned on, the phone will automatically record the call.
Games
There is an interesting game in the phone. Please refer to instructions from the Games menu for more details.
Facebook / Twitter/MSN/Skype/Yahoo
Internet service enables you tour around the Internet world easily and happily.

Sound Recorder
Press center button to start recording, press the right soft key to stop recording. Press the left soft key options are: play, new, delete, view files.
Profiles
This mobile phone provides eight kinds of profiles: general, meeting, outdoor, silent, personal, headset, Bluetooth, You can set your profile according to your situation and environment.
File Manager
It provides you the functions such as browsing media files, checking storage space and formatting function. When browsing the media files, you can operate the selected files such as copy, delete etc.
Organizer
Calendar
Access this menu, the calendar will be shown on the screen. Press the icon to change the date, and the calendar shown on the screen will be changed accordingly.
Alarm
Set the alarm time and it will remind you by alert tone or vibration when the alarm

Shortcuts
You can select application quickly using this function. If you assign the shortcut to the Dedicated of the key, you can run the application as the usual menu action when pressing the direction key in standby mode.
E-book
Read txt format file. You can complete the following features: View, delete, delete
all, scroll style, language code and information. While reading, press “Option to do
the work such as full screen, my bookmark, scroll style, language code, and information.
Music
Also it is called music player. Your FLY_SX260 comes with a music player to let you enjoy any music of your choice through your TF card. You can easily transfer your favorite music from your PC to the TF card and experience a whole world of interesting and melodious music. Press the phone’s up and down keys. A panel opens to show the current media volume; the indicator moves as you adjust the volume.

Video Player
Access the menu, you can enter film list and press “options” to choose a movie clip to play, send, rename, delete, delete all files, view details. While playing, long press right or left key to adjust the rate of progress, up and down key to adjust volume, center key to play or pause.Avi,3gp and mp4 formats are supported.
APPENDIX
Appendix A: Guidance on Entry Methods
This phone provides input methods, which can be used in editing the Phonebook, short messages, alarms and other text applications.
The Icons of Input Methods
After entering different kinds of edit windows (including edit phonebook, short messages. etc.), the icons of input are as follows:
“123”: The Entry method of Numeric appears as: “123” “ABC”: The entry method of Multi tap ABC appears as: “ABC” “abc”: The entry method of Multi tap abc appears as: “abc” “Abc”: The entry method of Multi tap Abc appears as: “Abc”

How to Input Special Symbols
If you want to input special symbols, such as "!”? = < >”, etc., please: Press the Left Soft Key to access Menu for the Insert Symbols in the Input method or press the * Key to display the symbols. Press the Up/Down, or Left/Right Key to move the cursor in the symbol table, and select one symbol. Press the Right Soft Key to cancel the symbol selection.

2. My Phone would not power on?
Possible Reasons for Malfunction
