FCL5320 Connected Hub
Installation Manual
Introduction
The FCL5320 Connected Hub is an elegant wall plug-in hub that transforms your home into a smart home. Using your existing residential Wi-Fi network, it connects and controls all the sensors in your home to work with your cable TV operators home automation service.
Before you install…
Before you install the FCL5320 product make sure the following steps have completed –
OpenHome™ Home Automation service from your cable TV service provider. OpenHome™ sensors are provided to you by the service provider. A working residential Wi-Fi network connection with SSID and password, if
required, is available.
o NOTE: to use the WPS feature on the Connected Hub you need to have a
Wi-Fi router that has a WPS button on it.

Installation
Preparing the location
1. Find an electrical outlet in the central part of your home that is within 50ft away
from your residential Wi-Fi access point. TIPS:
The outlet should be in clear visible sight with no obstructions within 5’ of it. If the outlet has two receptacles, then use the bottom one for installation.
2. To use the security bracket, follow these steps carefully –
NOTE: Please be mindful of electrical safety and exercise caution when installing this product.
Turn off power to the outlet. Remove the center screw from the faceplate and save it. Snap on the security bracket to the product. Plug in the product into the lower receptacle of the outlet. Use the provided screw to secure the product to the faceplate on the
electrical outlet.
Confirm that the product is seated firmly into the outlet. Turn on power to the outlet.
Download the app
Download your cable service providers home automation app (available on
iTunes or Google Play store).
Activating the Connected Hub
Using WPS mode
Press the WPS button on your residential Wi-Fi router.
The router will launch into a discovery mode waiting on devices to join.
Within a minute, press the WPS button on the FCL5320 Connected Hub.
The Hub should attempt to join the router. Upon successful activation the LED on the Hub will change to a solid
white.
Using AP mode
With your mobile device connected to your home Wi-Fi network, launch the
Cox mobile app and log in.
Begin activation following the instructions on the app. When prompted to
switch to the Connected Hub’s Wi-Fi network, enter the device Settings menu on your mobile device.
This is usually indicated with a gear icon on an Android phone or
with a gears icon on an iPhone.
The hub will launch into a discovery mode waiting on devices to join.
Go to the Network Wi-Fi settings on your mobile device and connect to the
Cox_XXXXXX network.
The mobile app will now prompt you to enter the SSID/password for your
home Wi-Fi network.
These are the credentials used to join your home Wi-Fi network.
Follow the instructions on the screen to join the Connected Hub to your home
Wi-Fi network.
The Hub will proceed with the activation process. Upon successful activation the LED on the Hub will change to a solid
white.
To add/remove sensors
Follow the instructions on the app to add/remove OpenHome™ home
automation sensors in your home.
