FLEX THERMOPLASTIC POURABLE SEALER
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Flex Thermoplastic One-Part Pourable Sealer is a one-part, moisture curing, elastomeric polyether sealant
providing rapid skin time when exposed to atmospheric moisture forming a waterproof rubber surface in
less than an hour. Moisture curing continues for fourteen to twenty-eight days, until a two-inch deep solid
rubber seal encases the penetration. Complete cure time will vary depending on relative humidity and
temperature.
This product is designed for use with the Flex TPO Molded Sealant Pocket. The Flex Thermoplastic
Pourable Sealer’s consistency allows for quick pocket filling without mixing. Flex Sealant Primer must be
applied to all surfaces that will be in contact with the Thermoplastic One-Part Pourable Sealer. Unused
sealant remaining in the pouch will remain useable up to 30 days if pouch is resealed with original cap.

APPLICATION
1. Bonding surfaces must be free of moisture, dirt, or any contaminants. Any previously applied
asphalt, caulking, or sealants must be removed from the penetration(s).
2. Clean all surfaces with Flex's Weathered Membrane Cleaner.
3. Fill any voids in the roof deck around the penetration(s) to prevent sealant from seeping through
roof.
4. Flex Sealant Primer is required. Apply the primer to all bonding surfaces including penetration(s),
TPO membrane, inside walls and rim of the Flex TPO Molded Sealant Pocket. Allow primer to dry.
5. Remove cap from 0.5-gallon (2-liter) pouch and pour Flex Thermoplastic One-Part Pourable Sealer
directly into pocket. Fill pocket completely until rim is covered with Thermoplastic One-Part
Pourable Sealer making sure all voids are filled.
· To save unused sealant, squeeze air from pouch and replace cap. Unused sealant should be used
within 30 days.
· For best results maintain this product at room temperature before application.
· For cold weather applications remove any frost or moisture from inside pocket using a hand held
heat gun. Proceed with installation steps for the appropriate product.
COVERAGE
One 0.5-gallon pouch (2-liter) will fill 122 cubic inches of volume within a sealant pocket. One Flex TPO
Molded Sealant Pocket will require 0.46 gallons (1.75 liters) to fill completely (with no penetrations).
CAUTIONS
1. Uncured adhesive irritates eyes.
2. Avoid prolonged skin contact.
3. Keep out of the reach of children!
4. In case of eye contact immediately flush eyes with water, and call a physician.
5. See Material Safety Data Sheet for complete safety information before using product.
