FLEX POURABLE SEALER
DESCRIPTION
Flex Pourable Sealer is a high-performance, single component, polyurethane-base, self-leveling pitch pan
sealant. Flex Pourable Sealer is self-priming and requires no mixing; it is simply poured in place and
cures to form a resilient, tough seal. Flex Pourable Sealer produces a flexible, long-lasting seal with
extraordinary adhesion, cohesion, elasticity and abrasion resistance.
THIS PRODUCT IS FORMULATED TO PROVIDE:
· Single component sealant which requires no mixing.
· Functions from - 40° F to 180° F.
· Bonds to most substrates without a primer.
· Resists penetration and puncturing by sharp objects.
· Resists permanent deformation from compression.
· Resists deterioration from weather, stress, movement, water, and aging without
SUGGESTED USES
Flex Pourable Sealer is used to seal objects that are difficult to flash requiring a pitch pan installation.

NOTE: Do not install when rain is expected before the sealant reaches initial cure. Substrates must be
absolutely dry or bubbling may result. **All Flex Roof Systems require pitch pans to be made of
Flexclad coated metal.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
1) Install Flexclad Pitch Pan around the penetrating object according to Flex’s current specifications and
details.
2) Fill bottom of pitch pans with concrete or other suitable fillers. Do not use other caulks or sand as a
bottom bed in a pitch pan. Flow the sealant into the pitch pan and taper the sealant outward to provide
positive drainage. The maximum depth should be 3/8” deep.
CURING TIMES
Cure of Flex Pourable Sealer will vary with temperature and humidity. Under normal conditions (75° F
and 50 % humidity), Flex Pourable Sealer will have a skin overnight or within 24 hours and will fully
cure in approximately one week.
CLEAN UP
Immediately after use and before sealant has cured, clean equipment or material with an approved,
suitable cleaner or solvent.
FOR BEST PERFORMANCE
● Protect unopened containers from heat and direct sunshine.
● In cool or cold weather, store containers at room temperature for at least 24 hours
before using.
● Do not apply over freshly treated wood; treated wood must have weathered for at least
6 months.
● Do not apply below freezing temperatures unless substrates are completely dry, free of
moisture, and clean.
● Polyurethane sealants should not come in contact with oil-base caulking, silicone,
sealants, polysulfides, fillers impregnated with oil, asphalt, or tar.
