FLEX BONDING ADHESIVE 2375
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Flex Bonding Adhesive 2375 is a synthetic rubber contact type bonding adhesive designed for
horizontal or vertical membrane to substrate bonding.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
● Fast Drying
● Long open tack time
● Excellent heat resistance
● Excellent green strength
● Apply by brush or paint roller
● Versatile, high overall performance over a wide application temperature range
SUGGESTED USES
Flex Bonding Adhesive is designed for the bonding of membrane (non-felt backed) to insulation
boards, metal, wood, and other various building materials.
APPLICATION
Flex Bonding Adhesive 2375 should be applied at temperatures of 40°F or above. Applying the
adhesive at temperatures below 40°F will extend drying times and potentially cause the
condensation of water on the adhesive film producing lower ultimate bond strengths. If Flex
Bonding Adhesive 2375 is stored below 40°F, store the adhesive at room temperature (72°F) for
at least three days before using.
Materials to be bonded should be clean, dry, and free from contaminates. Stir adhesive
thoroughly before use. Apply adhesive by brush or paint roller to the substrate and the back of
the membrane at the specified coverage rate. Allow to dry 15 to 30 minutes before mating. Once
mated apply adequate pressure by means of a heavy roller to insure contact of all bonding areas.
Note: The bonded membrane may not be repositioned.

PRODUCT HANDLING
Flex Bonding Adhesive 2375 contains ingredients which could be harmful if mishandled.
Contact with skin and eyes should be avoided and necessary protective equipment and clothing
should be worn. All five gallon pails and larger metal containers should be grounded and/or
bonded when material is transferred. Vapors are heavier than air and may travel along the ground
or may be moved by ventilation and ignited by pilot lights, other flames, sparks, heaters,
smoking, electric motors, static discharge, or other ignition sources at locations distant from
material handling point. Never use welding or cutting torch on or near drum (even empty)
because product (even residue) can ignite explosively.
Flex Membrane International maintains Material Safety Data Sheets on all of its products.
Material Safety Data Sheets contain health and safety information for your development of
appropriate product handling procedures to protect your employees and customers.
Flex’s Material Safety Data Sheets should be read and understood by all of your
supervisory personnel and employees before using Flex products in your facilities.
STORAGE
When Flex Bonding Adhesive 2375 is stored indoors, out of direct sunlight, and in the original,
unopened container between 60°F and 80°F, the shelf life is twelve months. Always rotate stock.
