H ow to put on your ActiPed on your footwear ?
T here are two important things to remember when putting on your
ActiPed.
1. I t must be located on the top of your shoe between your toes and
the front of your ankle.
W hat does the ActiPed collect for your activity?
T he A ctiPedTMcollects activity data as steps, activity time, calories
burned and distance traveled. I t measures activity data for your run
steps, walk steps or moving around.
2. I t must be snug to your shoe and not loose where it can move or
flop around.
For sneakers or shoes with laces, slide the A ctiPed clip underneath 2
or 3 lace crossings and place the ActiPedTMnear the top middle of
your shoe. For shoes without laces, slide the clip underneath a strap,
the tongue or anyplace that is on top of the shoe that the clip can
snugly grip to.

It does not
work for all types of activities, the ones primarily where
your foot isn’t hitting the ground in a manner that could be considered
a verifiable foot strike. For example, elliptical machines and cycling.

T he A ctiPed
will store approximately 10 to 30 days of activity data
depending on how much y ou wear you A ctiPed and your daily
acti vity levels.
H ow does my activity data get transferr ed fr om my ActiP ed
to my personal web account?
T he A ctiPedTMwirelessly transports your activi ty data when it
contacts an ActiL ink data access device. This can be through either
an ActiL ink Personal USB device in your computer or other ActiL ink
devices set up in a buil ding, facility or worksite.
