• Turn the vehicle over.

• While squeezing the edges on a hubcap, insert a slotted
screwdriver under a tab. Repeat to remove all three tabs on
the hubcap.

• Pull to remove the hubcap.

• Repeat step 1 to remove the remaining hubcaps.

• Slide two washers onto the end of each front axle.

• Using one of the wrenches, loosen the hex nut on a front axle.

• Remove the hex nut.

• Repeat this procedure to remove the hex nut on the other
front axle.

• Replace the hex nut onto each front axle.

• Tighten both hex nuts with the wrench.

Hint: You will need the help of another adult with steps 5 and 6.

• While holding the hex nut on one side of the rear axle with a
wrench, loosen the other hex nut with a wrench. Remove the
hex nut.

• Slide two washers onto each end of the rear axle.

• While holding the rear axle, loosen the remaining hex nut on
the other end of the rear axle.

• Remove the hex nut.

• Replace the hex nuts back onto each end of the rear axle.

• While holding the hex nut on one side of the rear axle with a
wrench, tighten the other hex nut with a wrench. Repeat this
process to tighten the other hex nut.

• Align the tabs on a hubcap with the slots on a wheel. “Snap”

the hubcap into the center of the wheel.

• Repeat this procedure to assemble the remaining hubcaps.
