Battery Replacement
Batteries included are for demonstration purposes only. Replace batteries when sound or image becomes distorted.
For longer life use only alkaline batteries. Toy requires 2 replaceable AAA/LR03 alkaline batteries. When
the “BATTERIES LOW” symbol shows on screen, change batteries within 2 minutes or game progress will be lost. To replace batteries, use a Phillips head screwdriver (not included) to open battery door. Insert 2
AAA/LR03 alkaline batteries as shown. Use either AAA/LR03 alkaline batteries or equivalent. Replace battery cover and screw closed.

In exceptional circumstances batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid battery leakage:
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product before being charged (if designed to be removable).
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision (if designed to be removable).
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.

1. Press any of the 3 buttons to turn on.
2. Move screen down to lowest position and hold it there for 2 seconds to exit “TRY ME” mode.
3. Then move screen up to top position to calibrate device and begin playing.
EXPLORE
4. Slide screen up and down to move My Meebas™ and explore its environment.
5. Use the LEFT or RIGHT buttons to move My Meebas™ side to side and to reach a Hot Spot.
6. To find a Hot Spot, move My Meebas™ towards it, and you will see a flashing light and hear a bell sound. Press the ACTION button to enter a Hot Spot.

STATS
At any time, you can check how is doing. Move the screen all the way up to the top to the heart-shaped hot spot at the top of the screen. Press the ACTION button, and enter STATS.
There is a kissing sound, and the STATS screen appears. You will see how My Meebas
is doing. Move the screen up and down to see how My Meebas™ has evolved. Next to the different evolutions, there may be hearts. The number of hearts

My Meebas™
EVOLVE
You earn hearts by playing games and activities. When you have earned 3 hearts, you can choose to have My Meebas™ evolve. You will see
My Meebas™ next to a question mark. Use the RIGHT button to select the question mark, then press the ACTION button to proceed. There will be a “bling” sound and bubbles on the screen when you progress to the next evolution. You can also choose to stay at the current level and continue to earn hearts (up to 5). There are 7 levels to evolve through.
NOTE: Once My Meebas™ has evolved, you cannot go back to a previous evolution.

FINAL My MEEBAS

Once My Meebas™ has completed its evolution, you can choose to open the tube. Your cute creature is revealed!
You can store My Meebas™ in the tube and play games.
NOTE: Top of tube will not open until final evolution of My Meebas™. The product has limited game play after the My Meebas™ is revealed and tube is open.

TROUBLESHOOTING
RESET BUTTON
When exposed to an electrostatic source, the product may malfunction and suffer memory lost. Reset the product if this occurs. Ask an adult to insert a metal tip, such as a bent paper clip, into the RESET hole. Reset is disabled after tube opens; close the tube before reset.
