• Place the basket face down on a fl at surface.
Note: The legs are designed to overlap and need to be assembled in order.
• First, fi t the leg labeled 1 onto the area labeled 1 on the basket. Then, fi t the leg labeled 2
onto the area labeled 2 on the basket.

• Fit the legs labeled 3 and 4 (in this order) onto the basket.

• Insert all seven screws into the legs and tighten.

• Turn the shopping cart assembly upright.
• "Snap" the handle into the holes in the top side of the basket.
Note: The handle is designed to fi t one way. If it does not seem to fi t into the basket, turn it around and
try again!

• For best performance, we recommend replacing the batteries that came with this toy with three,
new alkaline “AA” (LR6) batteries.
• Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the toy.
• Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door and remove the door. Remove the exhausted
batteries and throw them away.
• Replace the batteries with three, new "AA" (LR6) alkaline batteries.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer battery life.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws.
• If the toy begins to operate erratically, you may need to reset the electronics. Slide the power/volume switch on the toy off and then on again.
• When sounds become faint or stop, it's time for an adult to change the batteries!
• Protect the environment by not disposing of this product with household waste
(2002/96/EC). Check your local authority for recycling advice and facilities.
Battery Safety Information
In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin
your product. To avoid battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or
rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the
product. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of this product in a fire. The batteries inside
may explode or leak.

• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recomended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.

• A plastic tab is attached to the toy for in-store demonstration purposes. While the tab may have
already been removed, check the bottom of the toy to be sure. If the plastic tab is still attached,
pull and remove the tab. Throw the plastic tab away.
• Wipe this toy with a clean cloth dampened with a mild soap and water solution. Do not immerse
this toy.
