Battery Replacement Battery Safety

In exceptional circumstances,
batteries may leak fluids that can
cause a chemical burn injury or ruin
your toy. To avoid battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or
batteries of different types: alkaline,
standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated inside
For best performance, we recommend
replacing the batteries that came with
this toy with three, new alkaline “AA”
(LR6) batteries.
• Locate the battery compartment door
on the side of the vehicle.
• Loosen the screw in the battery
compartment door with a Phillips
screwdriver. Remove the battery
compartment door.
• Remove the exhausted batteries and
throw them away.
• Insert three, new "AA" (LR6)

batteries.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline
batteries for longer life.
• Replace the battery compartment
door and tighten the screw with
a Phillips screwdriver. Do not
over-tighten.
• When sounds or motions become
faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to
change the batteries!

Shake It, Then Race It!
CAUTION
Please keep small parts such
as plastic tabs out of children’s
reach. Throw the plastic tabs away.
Note: Plastic tabs are attached to the
toy for in-store demonstration purposes.
While the tabs may have already been
removed, check the bottom of the toy
to be sure. If the plastic tabs are still
attached, pull and remove the tabs.

• Lift the vehicle and shake it to start
the "engine".
Hint: For maximum distance, shake
the vehicle 7 or 8 times. Shaking more
than this does not increase the range.

• Locate the on/off switch on
the vehicle.
• Slide the switch on .
• Set the vehicle down and off it goes!
The more you shake your vehicle,
the longer it goes!
• When you're finished, slide the
on/off switch off .
